I purchased an Lifetime Warranty FDA cleared OTC HealthmateForever YK15AB TENS unit with 4 outputs, apply 8 pads at the same time, 15 modes Handheld Electrotherapy device (White) | Electronic Pulse Massager for Electrotherapy Pain Management -- Pain Relief Therapy : Chosen by Sufferers of Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Arthritis, Bursitis, Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Sciatica, Back Pain, Fibromyalgia, Shin Splints, Neuropathy and other Inflammation Ailments. Patent No. USD723178S. and needed replacement electrode pads fairly quickly - and when I had an opportunity to review these alegriaCare pads for review, was quite pleased.
Pros:
- They are 2x2 inches (larger than the 1x1 inch pads that arrive standard with most tens units)
- They seem to be superior in terms of the fabric. They are thicker (see attached photo) and have a tighter weave in the fabric. I noticed that the 1x1 pads from Healthmate broke down quite quickly after several uses - while still adhesive, the pads themselves became relatively flimsy and you could see they were becoming more transparent. However, the thickness does NOT prevent them from being flexible on the areas you need them. I put 2 pads on my wrist bones overnight (carpal tunnel) and they stayed on no problem.
- The alegriaCare pads have a good quality adhesive glue on them that does not feel 'gummy' or 'sticky' to your fingers when you pull them off the clear storage sheets. The adhesive glue also does not feel gummy on your skin. Compared to other pads I've used, they also don't seem to leave a gummy residue on the storage sheets.Read more ›

As a sufferer of advanced degenerative joint disease, the TENS unit and I have become constant companions. I usually buy my replacement pads from a medical device supplier. The pads I received here seem far superior to those I've purchased/used in the past. These seem to "sticK' much better, allowing me to use 1 set more often the other brand which seemed to slide along my back. I am able to move, turn, etc without fear I'll lose contact. I received these at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review and I can say that I will be reordering these pads from now on!

We have purchased several brands of electrodes for my husband to use with his TENS unit and both he and I are quite pleased with these. The adhesive works quite well...even after multiple uses and the conductivity seems to be very good. I can use the unit on a lower setting than I previously used as these seem to be stronger. Only complaint is one set was making sticky little adhesive balls on our skin and sticking to our arms and whatnot. It only happened with one set so far, so maybe it was just a fluke. All in all a great product! Thank you!!

These electrode pads are durable and conduct the currents well to relieve pain and enhance relaxation... my tens unit is used daily for my mother and not all pads are created equally. The tens unit I have is a medical unit I received from my doctor and the company has since gone out of business. I tried several after market electrode pads and these are the most durable with a reasonable price tag. In addition, I appreciate the way the product is packages as extra electrodes are easily stored in my cabinet. I will be purchasing this product again!
