Cutting the collar to size was hard to understand. I did not know the collar had a clasp. I am also lucky that I noticed that you cut only on the side
of the collar that has the scissors sticker. After cutting the collar to size , It came apart after I stuck it on the clasp and I wound a rubber band where it was cut.

This collar is fabulous! We often take our nearly black dog out for walks at night, and because we have large fields nearby and she's extremely well trained, we can let her off leash. The problem is that we can't see her. So we bought this collar in pink, and wow - it is BRIGHT! Like, avert-your-eyes bright. It's awesome! I love that it's rechargeable via USB.

The only reason I don't give it five stars is that within about two weeks, the charge stopped lasting as long and the lights have become dimmer. At first, a charge lasted about four or five days of 1/2 hour walks. But now it needs charged every two days - EVERY day if the the walks are long. It's not a big deal as long as the collar doesn't die anytime soon, but I would be much happier if it held a longer charge.

I will probably be buying two more in greed and red to dress her in at Christmas time. :)

It works fine. I use it on my old blind dog, when she goes outside to perform her dooties, especially at night. She tends to wander around on the farm, often following her nose to our shelter-belt of woods. With this collar on, I can easily locate her & bring her back to the house. It's nice that it is rechargeable, but I have noticed it doesn't hold a charge for long. That's why I gave it only 4 stars.

When my dog is wearing it (always!), people stop me in the street to say how fab she looks. I now own this collar in three colors, and I can't wait to dress her up for Christmas. Such fun. So safe.

Love it keeps my dog safe when walking at night. He is only 7lbs I cut it to fit over his head so I wouldn't have to keep connecting and disconnecting it and I glued it so it would stay connected. It would pop open that's why I glued it. He doesn't mind it and I'm glad he has it since he is black and people can notice him more when walking.

Works good,now I can see the dog when she is outside at night. I've read a few reviews that said it stopped working after they cut it to length, I looked at the piece I cut off and it has enamel coated wires in it so use very good scissors to cut it, needs to have a clean cut, or separate the two wire ends after you cut it.
