I bought these and was using them for coloring... for whatever reason I stuck the wrong end of the pencil in my mouth... they are water soluble and the color transferred to the paper brighter. no where did I see that these were water soluble, but they are.

I bought these to use in my Enchanted Forest coloring book.

It's a beautiful coloring book so I wanted to get something that wouldn't bleed through (like markers) and would allow me to blend nicely and get great color payoff without having to press hard and dig into the paper.

I always hated Roseart and Crayola colored pencils. And hoenstly until 2 days ago I had no idea that better quality colored pencils existed. Seriously had no clue lmao.

I tried to look for cheaper options first. But every review I read for cheaper brands that were "knock offs" of this (stated by many reviewers) were very mixed and mostly bad when compared to these.

Colors are vibrant and you don't have to press to hard. I think the lead of Prismacolor soft pencils are a little softer than these but I do like having a variety of colors in one set.

Only complaint I have is I wish the color pf the pencil was etched on pencil. When you have a variety of colors of one color that are hard to tell which is which makes it annoying.

nice color variation, and they do blend nicely, but not as bold of colors as I would like. I use my crayola colored pencils for more vivid tones, and use these for shading.

I am very disappointed in these pencils. The colors are dull and the lead is scratchy. I would not recommend these to anyone that is serious about coloring. I have much cheaper pencils that color smoother and are more vibrant.

Have enjoyed using these. I am not a professional by any means, but they fulfill the need that I have. These do tend to "bleed" now and then, and I'm not sure why that is. When trying to make a fine line, that is when I notice that is happening. In other respects, I am enjoying the variety of colors, such as all the different blues. Whatever the outside color is on the pencil is what you get on paper, and that makes it easier to choose. The leads are strong, not easily breakable when sharpening, and offer ease in coloring. If I could give these a 4.9, that is what I would actually rate them.

much nicer to color with than regular crayola pencils. i get that vibrant color without having to press hard which was causing blisters on my fingers. great variety in colors, however some colors look different on paper than the color of the lead (i know, weird) so pay attention to the color label to find the colors you are really looking for. (mainly some of the pinks and blues).
