These came really nicely packaged in a smooth and professional stylist looking box. They were clean and free of debris and really well presented. The brushes have a retro, sleek look and are very stylish. My kids couldn't wait to get their hands on them... brushes, yes, I didn't expect them to get excited over them either, but they are pretty cool looking! They each picked out which one would be theirs. I thought I had bought them for myself, but I guess I was wrong!
We have really coarse, long and thick hair, so we're always trying the next new thing in hair care. I really like the Art Naturals brand with their Argan products so I thould I needed to try the brushes! Tangles are an everyday struggle for us. It's so bad, we detangle in the shower with ridiculous amounts of conditioner scalp to ends. I first tried the brush on my daughters ends when her hair was dry and just like with other brushes it was really hard to brush out. When we took it to the shower with conditioner, it was really slippery as there isn't a rubberized grip on the handle, but after we got used to using it, it was really very nice. The brustles aren't quite as long as we need them to be, but for the average person with manageable hair, they wouldn't have that problem. Another really nice aspect for detaingling in the shower is there is no place for the water to gather inside the brush. The brush stays really clean and you dont have to worry about all the water getting out of it because there is no where for it to settle.
My five year old daughter never offers to brush her hair on her own, but she likes this brish so much, she keeps asking me if she can do it herself. That in itself is worth the small investment!Read more ›

Ok let me just say the name of this brush should be changed to the "Miracle Brush"! This brush has literally been a life saver in our house! My almost 2 year old daughter has very thin, frizzy, crazy hair! Every time in the past I would attempt to brush her hair it was a huge ordeal! She would fuss, cry, and throw a fit like I was torturing her! Her hair always has knots in it as her "calming" mechanism is to twist the back of her hair with her fingers. This has resulted in some nasty knots that have been almost impossible to get out. (see attached pic) In fact there was one time she had a knot in it so bad my husband had to cut it out! I was very skeptical when I saw that this brush was supposed to detangle hair without all the fuss....sounded too good to be true! Surely it couldn't be that easy? Well let me tell you it can! Since getting the Art Naturals detangling brush set, my daughter does not fuss anymore when I have to brush her hair! She sits there and lets me do it. She even likes to carry it around with her and tries to brush her own hair with it, which results in more tangles...good thing I have a good brush. Lol. I have no clue as to the science behind how this brush works, I honestly don't care, all I know is it does! The handles are designed so that they are easy to hold onto while brushing. I kind of wish the handle was a little longer, but I just hold onto the wide part of the brush a bit along with the handle and it works fine that way. I love this set of detangling hair brushes from Art Naturals!
I have four little girls, two of which just started back to school. They both have medium to long hair lengths and their hair tends to get messed up during the day. I hated to send the only brushes they had to school with them, afraid they would get lost or used by someone else. Plus I wanted something that I knew no one else would had!
Since this is a two pack of pink and black, these brushes were the perfect thing to be able to send in my daughters backpacks to school! They love them. They are easy to use and fit in their hands super well. I love how they can use these detangling brushes and actually brush through their hair without ripping all the knots out! The bristles are three different lengths and go around the brush in an alternating pattern of longest, shortest, medium, from outside inward.
Overall I love these detangling brushes from Art Naturals! I would recommended these brushes to anyone with multiple girls in the house. They are perfect to throw in a backpack or purse and really help when trying to brush out knotted and tangled up hair!

I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange of my honest review all opinions are my own.
I got these brushes for myself and my little girl as we both have thick wavy and curly hair textures so there for a lot of tangles. When it comes to brushing her hair I generally get a big temper tantrum but she didn't even notice I was brushing her hair out until I went to lift up and brush the under side by her neck area. The teeth are really close together but small and don't have anything on the ends of them to catch on your hair so they glide threw like butter. They worked really good in both of our hair and both of us have soft shiny locks after using them I am overall really happy with them and would highly recommend them for anyone with a little one who hates to have there hair brushed which is basically the whole world right. The handle has a unique shape that makes it really easy to get a good grip so you can easily glide threw and gently brush your hair I like that this brush isn't the type your going to have to dig the pieces of fuzz out or scrub out I know myself I have oily hair due to the water we have from a well so my brush tends to get pretty yucky this you can easily run under hot water and its like new. Your hair also doesn't get yanked out like my normal brush I usually empty a handful a week or more yeah makes me wonder how I have any left this didn't take more then maybe a couple strands for myself or my daughter I was shocked.
