Most Comfortable Headset I've owned to date. I have a HUGE!!!! head and these fit and don't hurt. I have the wireless version as well as a pair of razer chroma kraken. I prefer these, too bad i bought them for my wife. I love corsair! have a whole kit now.

Full disclosure: I won this headset from Corsair on Twitter. That said, and with a minor caveat or two, I absolutely love this headset.

FIRST OFF, the mic problems a couple people have mentioned. The mic is flexible and able to be bent into whatever position best suits you. I have it bent at an angle right before the end of the mic, and it works perfectly.

Pros:
- Extremely comfortable
- Excellent sound (Use the CUE software to adjust levels to your liking, and turn on dolby)
- Handy lights on the mic to show you if you're muted, or if the battery is low.
- RGB customization, if that's something you care about (I turn it off to extend battery life)
- Great battery life (I went a good 18 hours on a full charge)
- Uses a super easy plug 'n play usb dongle.
- Sturdy construction
- Ear cups turn in to lay flat for convenient storage.

Cons:
- While very comfortable, they can easily slip forward if you look down.

Nitpicks:
- I've been spoiled by my Logitech set, it'd be nice if the mic automatically muted when raising the boom, but this is obviously not a make or break feature.

Overall, these are a great pair for the price. They were on my wishlist before winning them, and I'm happy to say that I wouldn't have been disappointed had I bought them.

This is an amazing headset... I owned a razer headset before, that only last me 3 weeks before it start failing. This one is solid rock(materials), the microphone is pretty awesome because everybody can hear me perfectly and sometimes they tell that it is like if I were speaking face to face.

I liked the new volume controller , but the ear cubs is smaller than the previous model H1500 of about 28% , its about 5 cm diameter if you consider it as a circular shape and the previous was 7 cm in diameter , which are small in my opinion , i hope it was bigger and more comfortable like the previous model H1500 .

Nice bass + Nice sound .

The VOID USB RGB headset is sturdy and comfortable to wear for extended periods. The earcups actually appear to be anchored to the padded headband by some kind of die cast metal arms. I wear glasses, but this headset did not clamp them to my head in an uncomfortable fashion.

I installed the Corsair CUE software to put these through their paces. I found the software interface to be somewhat clunky. It allows the user to create, name, and store different profiles (with customized EQ and lighting settings) for different games, etc. It was relatively easy to switch the Dolby Surround on and off. The earcup lighting can be controlled through the software. That's pretty secondary to me, though. I care more about the sound.

The overall sound from this headset is good for gaming. There is a lot of bass emphasis, so explosions, etc., have substantial impact in game. They are also revealing enough to allow you to detect subtle sounds, like a spy decloaking in Team Fortress 2. The Dolby enhances the directionality of the sound, which I found quite helpful in Team Fortress 2.

The sound is not as good for music. I tried them on my FLAC library with and without the CUE software. I found that the bass was far too loud and upper midrange was recessed and somewhat chesty sounding. Cymbals did not have distinct sizzle -- more of a general wash of sound in the upper treble. But at least not harsh sounding. That's more or less average for "closed" headphones in this range. Overall, I'd stick to other headphones for listening to music.Read more ›

Due to a billing address error I was not able to purchase this from Amazon. However they gave me a refund and I bought it from somewhere else. I love the sound quality of this headset. I have a few complaints but just minor and nothing that wouldn't keep me from buying this again.

I wish you could mute the mic by just flipping up like the last Corsair headset I had. Instead there is the mute button on the side of the headset you have to push and sometimes I have been talking with friends and lets just say had embarrassing family conversations while forgetting the mic WASN"T muted. Also if you turn your headset off for a few minutes to save battery while away from your computer for a while, make sure to press mute again because when you turn it on, it won''t be on mute anymore.

I also wish it was a bit bigger for people with bigger heads. I panicked until I found out how to adjust it and make it fit right. Even at the biggest adjustment, it almost doesn't reach each ear when coming down on both sides.

Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the sound to come back when you turn it on. Example: You are listening to music, you turn it off to save battery and step away (not pausing music) and come back and turn them on, it will be silent for about 5-10 seconds before audio kicks back in. But only have about half the time.

Still those minor "issues" don't bother me that much. I am happy with it even though I had to purchase it from somewhere else.

I do like the feel of them and the comfort of them. The mic moves well with "click adjust settings". And the Corsair logo and Corsair words on each side change colors while it is on. It will make a noise every 5 minutes to alert you battery is running low. It lasts quite a long time, a lot longer then my other Corsair headset did. I can use it a full day almost (while stepping away from computer for an hour here and there and turning it off).
