The second a high end manufacturer like DryBar or T3 makes this product I will buy it in a heartbeat. This is a great concept that I love; however, this Revlon version has a cord that is about half as long as it should be and the heat is too hot and singes my hair, that should never happen. I will comtinue to use it with caution because it's exactly what I need right now to give my right hand and arm a break from 30 years of blow drying my extremely thick and wavy hair. The short cord is a huge disappointment. I can't use it while sitting at my vanity which is next to a lower wall outlet. Instead I use it standing next to a higher wall outlet in the bathroom. I am able to dry my hair more quickly with the brush and blow dryer combined in one tool, but it does dry out my hair and leaves it a bit frizzy so I go over it with my large barrel ceramic body waver and put some cig curls in it to cover that up. Genius product, just a cheap execution. Once I can get this product in a version that really does smooth my hair, life will be sweet.

I've been using brush hair dryers for a LONG time. My favorite has always been Vidal Sassoon VS783 1875-Watt Professional Anti-Static Ion Dryer and Styler (which is about $25) but I decided to splurge on this one because of all the great reviews. The Revlon Pro is very easy to use and my hair turns out straight and shiny. But it must use a lot more energy than any of my other hair dryers because it keeps blowing the fuse in my bathroom. Also, it takes a LONG time to dry thick hair. I've found the best way to use it is to allow my hair to mostly air dry and then use this to finish it off. Overall, I like it but I think $50 is too high for the quality.

This latest generation of combination hair drying and styling brush from Revlon is a wonderful product. One product now removes the need for a separate blow dryer and flat-iron, or other styling device. And, the best part, it is actually gentler on your hair than both of the other products combined. I used this brush on my freshly shampooed, towel-dried, medium length hair. I set it on the highest setting for the most drying power, and then just brushed my hair to both dry and style it at the same time. It worked perfectly. I got a nice, smooth, straight finish, with all traces of frizz removed, in about half the time as using the separate blow dryer and flat iron. Then, with a little bit of further styling with the brush, I was even able to add some curl to my ends. So now we are talking about eliminating a curling iron or other curling tool, also. Amazing. I am so pleased with this product and I think the price is fantastic. It is much less expensive than buying 3 separate styling tools to do the job that this one tool can accomplish all on its own. And did I mention that there is very little chance that you will burn your skin or your scalp when using this product? It is perfect. Thank you, Revlon! If you are looking for a great gift for someone special, stop right here. You have found it.

Horrible. If you have real curls it will make it really frizzy. It also gets really hot and isn't very handy. I used a whole bottle of antifrizz stuff and I still look like princess puff afterwards. It kinda looks like blow drying your hair and going through with a brush. Not worth the money and I will definitely go return it. I'm really disappointed!!!

I have very thick, long and wavy hair and this hair dryer/straightener is the best ever at making it look like I just stepped out of a salon! I have a ton of different hair styling tools mostly because I had not found one that really does what I need well--until I bought this one! It dries & straightens my hair in just 10-15 minutes and instead of a flat dry look I get from a hair straightener it looks silky! People at work keep asking where I get my hair done at. It is fabulous at helping get the hair in the back of my head. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this dryer! Thank you finally Revlon! P.S. How did the rest of you get to sample it for free! I would love to be on that list!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! If you are a person whos good with your hair and you apend hours styling it then this isn't for you. If you are the kind of girl who sits with a blow dryer and the closest you get to using a brush with it is your hand, then GET THIS NOW! Suddenly I look like I know what I am doing. No more poof ball hair! I have been saved! Disclaimer: I got mine at Walmart on a super impulse buy. I paid 10 extra bucks because of it, but same device and I think its needed by all tomboys and girls who aren't good with hair. Also for single moms, but only use it on low for kids it runs on the loud and hot side, needless to say brush dry and style at the same time. Can you say life saver!

Revlon has gone extra lengths to make this as useful as possible. I must say Kudos to the designer of this product. From my knowledge at the time of this review writing this is the *ONLY* Hair Dryer currently on the market that gives consumers the power of a conventional fan based dryer and the precision of a brush based styler in an all-in-one convenient package.

The product comes with 3 year warranty and also comes with flexible tangle free bristles which gently straightens and dries your hair while 'Ionic Conditioning' leaving your hair with less frizz which can happen with other high powered blower/dryer. This product gives better natural shine to your hair, This has 2 Heat Settings and one 'Cool Shot' setting to get the desired style. This is Lightweight & Easy to Use & comes with a Tangle Free Swivel Cord which also has safety trip switch which can detect accidental grounding and eliminates electric shock.

If I were to nitpick on anything I would say that the place where one holds this styler/dryer is not suitable for small hands. But most adult women can hold them comfortably and can use the index finger as the primary guide to the bristles. Having said, If you have very small hands then it can be difficult to use this properly to dry or style your hair.
