If your girls are into Monster High and they like to build, then they will love this new Megabloks Monster High Creepateria building set that comes with Cleo denial Nile and Frankie Stein. This is recommended for 6+ but I know my four-year-old granddaughter is capable of playing with this with adult supervision. It comes with 280 pieces of building fun it is Mega bloks similar to Lego they do not connect to Lego they are their own building block type. Dolls do not stand on their own, you have to attach the bottom of their shoe to a small flat pieces or platform in order for them to stand .

This is part of the skull to make monster had a vision that will connect to other pieces this one is DAKT 93 . The additional ones available are : DL 878 , DLB 79, DKY 23 .
Warning choking hazard : There are some small pieces that are the size of small buttons one like the one half inch long hotdog so small pieces not for little ones to put things in their mouth.

Cute detailed set with Frankie and Cleo included. My 5 year old needed a lot of help with this set but I had planned on that when buying it for her. I was able to follow the directions pretty easily and the completed set was cool and she loves moving things around. Comes with a cafeteria table and little foods and a neat rotating locker shelf thing.

Monster High fans -- you will love this! The Creepateria Building set is amongst the Monster High series that you can collect and connect.

OK, so THIS set. 280 pieces. Very cool features. Secret vending machine, lunch counter with food, picnic table "food fright", lounge area, tower with shelf and accessories. Two minifigures, Cleo de Nile and Frankie Stein. Both super articulated and each standing just under 3" tall. They come in the box already assembled.

Building-wise, this set is as many Mega Bloks sets, a fingertip sore-maker. Use some patience you will have a blast building it. I found that like with other Mega Bloks set, bricks don't always fit together as nicely as you'd hope. It feels like you have to force some and there were times when the structure would break apart because I pushed something the wrong way.Read more ›

My five year old daughter loves this block set. She has the Lego Friends collection and also the Knex sets for girls, but when she saw Mega Bloks had Monster High, she was so excited. We hadn't even opened the box yet to start building before she started telling me all the cool things this could do just from looking at the pictures on the box. The dolls are well made and personally, I like how they are made over Lego and Knex version of dolls in their girl building sets. All the pieces fit perfectly together and everything worked like it should. I love the fact there are moving parts unlike Lego and Knex sets. What is also nice is you can play with this along with any Lego or Knex sets you have. They don't attach to each other, but you can build a bigger world of building blocks play sets and have hours of fun building and playing after.

This building set purports to be for ages 6+ - so I chose it for my 7-year old niece who LOVES Monster High - and who was spending the night with us. WOW did that go sideways. She tried for a short while to start the assembly of this - and was very quickly frustrated. The diagrams are nowhere near as good as those included with Lego sets - she gave up quickly. My 13-year old son took over to try and help - and it took him over an hour to get it together. He's assembled dozens of Lego sets with no problems - but he just kept saying, "These directions are terrible!" and he had to start certain parts over.

This is way too difficult for young kids and older kids are probably not into Monster High - so unless they dramatically improve the instructions - this toy is certain to only bring frustration.

Oh my goodness, my daughter is in love with this! She loves anything that you have to put together. She just loves the little monster dolls. She is into skulls now, but not scary skulls but girlie ones, just like the ones with this set. There are many pieces so be careful of little babies and pets. The main thing I like about this is the hours of play kids have using their imagination. My daughter has a few of these sets and she plays for hours and hours with them. With this one, she is having many tea parties with the dolls and it's so cute especially when Barbie was a surprise guest ! lol This is well made and sturdy and just very colorful and cute. Great set
