Very nice product. It is great for mounting on the wall in a spot where you would normally hang up your keys or put mail. My husband has a metal gun safe, and I am going to put heavy duty magnets on the back of it, and stick it to the side of his safe...because that is right where we walk in the door. I couldn't find anything like this with magnets, so this was a good design for the price and will work perfectly.

I always misplace my keys and wallet. I always have to run around the house trying to find them before I leave for work. This has been a great solution! I mounted it in the wall right next to our front door. It is large enough for me to hang up my stethoscope and white coat as well. I don't know if I would hang heavy jackets from it, but it is great for keys and small / lighter items. I always load it up with all the small things I need for the next day so I don't forget them as I rush out the door. I am very pleased with this purchase.

An adorable organizer

A cute and efficient way to store keys and other odds and ends. The front of this organizer is dry-erase, and a marker/eraser comes with it: the marker is magnitized but it's not a very strong magnet so that could be a small problem according to where you place the organizer. Inside is plenty of room to place keys (or whatever else you want to hang) on the attached hooks, or inside the box itself--there's more room than I imagined in here: I placed my keys, and then later I put a couple of bills in there that I have to pay within a few days--Love this idea and wonder where it's been all my life!

I have yet to hang it as I have it sitting on my desk in my writer's room, but installation on the wall should I want to do that will be easy.

I wrote on the dry erase board and I was able to erase what I wrote (photos below) with the little eraser: don't throw that little white thingee away! That is the eraser! I'm not wowed by the marker and eraser. I also used a soft cloth and that erased it, and as well, I used my sleeve (laugh) just to see--all erased fine but I thought I saw some smudgy parts where I used the eraser and had to scrub at that a bit.

A bargain for the price as I've had other "key holder organizers" that didn't offer this nice closed-in compartment to place and hide away keys, bills, and other odds and ends.

I highly recommend - would give it five stars if not for the cheap marker and eraser--that could be a bit better.

The one I recieved doesn't exactly look like the picture (cheaper quality in person)

The one I recieved doesn't exactly look like the picture (cheaper quality in person). The magnetic whiteboard was attatched slightly lower than the picture, so it hangs in front of the key hooks a little but only by a few millimeters. The plastic seems like it would snap if too much pressure was put on it, but since it's made for mail it shouldn't be a problem. These are not really enough of a reason to send it back though; it serves it's purpose fairly well and looks good enough so I'll keep it.

A key hanger with dry erase board seems to make practical sense

A simple solution to communicating and organizing. Everyone comes and goes through the door, and that is the place you drop your stuff after work and pick it up on the way out. This is basically a modified key rack or hook to include other aspects, such as notes or other little objects you might not want to forget. The little dry erase board is a perfect touch to let someone know where you are or when to expect them. Of course in the time of smart phones, it might not be used for the same purposes as simply saying, "I will be back at 4". But perhaps a little love note to your SO or kids or just a thought for the day might suffice. However you decide to use it, it is there. The demonstration shows putting your smart phone in there. This does not really serve as a locker, per se, and we are in an age where most people take their phones to bed. So keeping it in here until you leave is probably not something I will do on a regular basis. It does not lock either, so keeping "valuables" might not be a knee-jerk reaction.

It is easy to set up, put a few holes in the dry wall, screw the screws and hang the item. Its that simple. It is made of a vinyl type of plastic, so I feel like it could be cracked easily. It shuts ok, I feel like I had to play with it to get it to close properly. The dry erase board is just a piece of plastic with dry erase surface taped on. Outside of these few aspects, I like it. It is modern looking and not too big, maybe 6x6. Its not classy, but functional. I gave it 4 stars for functionality, and -1 for the quality of the item.

This key organizer/ message center is small and compact. The door is a dry erase board and has hinges on one side. Inside, there are 4 hooks for keyrings and a possibly a phone/ sunglasses pocket at the bottom.

Coming in at around 8" by 8", it is only 2" or so deep. This is enough to hold a few keys on a ring, but certainly nothing bulky. If you are a keychain collector, forget it. The hooks are made out of the same clear plastic as the case itself. There is a dry erase marker included with a small tip eraser on the cap. It is nothing special but the top is magnetic in order to stick to the outside. Wind will blow this thing off, though.

We will use this at our back door for shed keys and other necessary items. The dry erase board is good for quick notes or reminders. We will use it for dates of giving flea medication to our animals.

It isn't decorative to keep in a high traffic, well appointed area like a front entrance, but for the back door or maybe business break room, it works well. As thin as it is, it isn't in the way once mounted. I am a little nervous about the longevity, considering it is 100% plastic.

Modern, localised way to key family keys.
