I've been on a c-pap for 15 years. I imagined this wonderful device before I found it as an option for my new S9 a couple years ago.
Venturi effect of airpressure makes cold air in mask, and a cold bedroom makes it even worse. This marvelous electric hose produces exact temperature/humidity that you set on S9 via a probe on hose end closest to mask (tonsil looking thing). Automatically drains tank in Winter or when air is dry; uses less water when humidity high. Perfect device. Check insurance benefits before purchasing!

During the winter, this is a must have for CPAP users, especially those who use nasal mask. Its like summer on your nose! Even if you have a humidifier, by the time that humidity gets through your basic tubing it is cold. This tubing heats up almost as soon as you turn on your machine. I recommend maxing the temp on the tube (this is only a couple more degrees than factory default) and going down from there. Pleasantly warm to touch, and pleasant to inhale, best invention yet for CPAP users. Hopefully your not too brain dead yet from lack of O2--this tubing only works with the RESMED S9 Escape CPAP machine climate line/climate control system

If you own a Cpap and you have the Resmed S9 and get rain out, this tube is for you. For the most part it eliminates rain out. The warmed air even feels lighter to me. I love this and use it year round. I usually get a year out of the tube.
