The truth is,this dip stands rocks back and forth when I am using it,so I had to drill a couple of holes on the floor joints adding 2 steel plates to strengthen the flex joints. Now it is very stable! For 70.00,you can not find one anywhere as near solid as this one.I am satisfied with my own modifications!

Saw this dip station for 70 bucks, so I thought i'd pick it up because others are around 120-300. Can't complain about the price. Easy to assemble, very simple instructions, comes with all the screws you need. Dip station holds well, wobbles a little bit but not so much. I was nervous about the dip station when I saw the price, but I still went ahead and bought it. No regrets!

Do not go into this purchase thinking you are getting an expensive piece of commercial gym gear. It is a cheap, simple dip bar and if you set your expectations accordingly I think it is a very good product.

Quality-
It rocks a tiny bit as some other users noted but at no point does it feel unsafe. I only weigh 170 lbs so I cannot speak to heavier usage but I don't see it being a problem.

Assembly-
Is a breeze took about 10 minutes from the time I cracked open the box to the time it was done. Having a second pair of hands helps but not necessary. Basically 8 bolts and the rubber end caps and you are done.

A little bit far apart, but I also am not a very wide person. It does what it's intended to do and is very solid and sturdy. Good purchase.

Are you even kidding me... The bolts don't even screw in all the way. This is the most rickety rackety piece of equipment i've ever received in my life. I can't do a proper dip without shifting in 3 different directions. Imagine the picture above but with the two main pieces angled out to the side, and the 2 hand stands dipping backward. I'm furious right now, quite possibly the worst product i've ever received.

Are all these amazon reviews fake or something?

Amazon, look at these reviews and see if they are legit bc you should not be selling a terrible item such as this

Such a simple device, and yet what a potent exercise. I appreciate the solid 1- and 1/2-inch-thick dip bars because they diminish the tendency to employ a--isolation robbing--death grip.

I heeded the concerns of other dip-savvy reviewers about potential stand wobbling and simply placed a couple of 1/2-inch-thick by 6-inch-wide by short-length wood planks across the long stand feet and then strategically balanced four (otherwise unused), standard 25-pound weight plates on top of the planks. Gravity (Ya gotta love gravity, for without it, dips, pull-ups...or infinite other things, aren't possible), lovable gravity alone pins the planks and plates in place. Weebles might wobble, but not this Yahee.

By the way, the center-to-center distance between the parallel dip bars is 24-inches.

Its a dip stand. Looks good out of the packaging, pretty easy to assemble (using your own tools). The knurling could be a little deeper, but its cheap. Its a good buy/addition for someone trying to start a little workout area.
