Left off a star since they are a bit pricey. The Scosche heart rate monitor is a life changing device. Atrer using heart rate straps over a decade, I can now use almost any app or 'cheaper' garmin watch I want with 100% accuracy. Don't wash these bands, just spot clean them and they should last about 6 to 9 months with daily wear.

OEM replacement strap set for your Scoshe Rhythm. It includes both straps. I purchased a replacement to carry in my gear bag because the Velcro will eventually wear out. The way my luck runs, my strap will fail the day before a holiday weekend.

battery could last longer, and have replaced band twice, but is as accurate or moreso than machines at gym and my apple watch. button makes it too easy to accidentally turn on, which is annoying, but still so much better than the annoying chest straps. use when cycling, running and lifting.

Dec15 Update:
I was contacted by the Sr. Sales Rep (Brandon) who worked effortless to correct and rectify this matter. Note below where I was outside the allowed return time yet the company was aware of the defect and see attached pictures of the corrected design flaw. Thank you so much for replacing my strap.

Dropped my rating from 5 stars to 2 because I washed the large arm strap and the velcro came off. It is now useless to me. I had problems getting it to stay closed while working out. I didn't send back because I figured it wasn't worth the trouble as this was an intermittent problem. I am well past the return date and had to go back to the original black strap which had Ben washed twice already and works find. This additional strap was purchased for its color. Buy with caution! Great product but may have defects. Don't delay to return if defective like I did.

I seem to buy one of these every 3 months. Working out with it everyday it just fallas apart. I don't know if the quality if low or I am just wearing them out. I hand wash after each use and air dry. The velcro pulls apart from the band where the stitching is .

First off, see the two Scosche logos there in the picture? That's the only thing that's pink when you actually put the band on. It's a BLACK band with two pink Velcro flaps on either side of the actual heart monitor (which is sold separately). That's really a minor annoyance. I wanted a pink band around my arm like in the picture. Oh well, I can live with it.

Second, during a vigorous workout you sweat am I right? Well, that pink bleeds right into your arm and then you have to scrub pretty hard in the shower to get it off. FAIL.

EDIT 8/10/15: The band eventually stopped bleeding into my arm after about 10 workouts or so and the color becomes dull.

I'm torn here, while these straps are comfortable and the device itself is great vs. a chest strap, my 1st strap completely came apart after 4 weeks of use. I rinsed it off a few times, but never ran it through the wash or anything. Just from applying and removing the velcro to apply/remove it, the velcro completely pulled away from the other material and rolled up, making it very difficult to flatten out and put it on. Hopefully it was bad luck and won't happen this time. Don't get me wrong, I used it a lot, with commuting, I took it on and off at least 50 times in the first month, but I can't help but think it should last longer than that!
