I enjoy steam baked muffins while back packing. The brand of muffin mix that I like requires eggs, but whole eggs are to fragile and heavy to be practical. Thus this is the perfect light weight solution and they work very well.

I first ate powdered eggs while in the U. S. NAVY and have not tasted any like them until I purchased these.
I tried many of the other big companies (Utah Based) but, these were the best.
Buying more but, this time for storage.

I don't know how these work for making scrambled eggs, I never have found any powdered eggs that were worth the time trouble so I use this for mixing into other foods. I'm gluten free and have a hard time getting any baked good or pan breads to rise and without eggs that just will not happen at all. With these eggs I get a light and fluffy baked good without weird tastes and textures. My yeast breads rise nicely and my pancakes are just right. This is just what I needed to create mixes for my back packing and kayak trips this spring.

I bought this to have on hand when I run out of eggs and want to bake. I haven't tried it yet so I can't review taste and such. However I don't like the packaging, there is no way to reseal it after opening it if you don't use it all. I will be having to put it in a baggie and store it in the freezer.
