Because of my age I prefer holding an acoustic guitar in a classical position with the left leg raised. This foot rest is exactly what I hoped it would be when I chose it over the others I looked at. With the plate being roughly 10.25" x 4", it is stable and allows for a variety of level and angled positions.

I'm a beginner guitar player and had a problem with the guitar sliding off my right leg when I'm practicing. I saw a YouTube instructor recommending a foot stool to help in controlling the guitar from sliding and after much review of the various foot stool available for sale at Amazon decided on the TFRM-R foot stool due to looking sturdy on the photos. I've been using it a few weeks and I can confirm that it is a sturdy foot stool and the riveted rubber pad will not fall away anytime soon. It has a few adjustments for the angles of your foot/shoe and it works for me.

I just got this product and was a little worried that it would be the flimsy version that I've noticed in reviews of similar products from others. This is a sturdy footrest and the angle can be adjusted too. I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this product.

This is a nice, well assembled and stout foot stool. The adjustable legs are nice and tight, and lock into the adjusting slots nicely. Nice size platform for my size 12.5 feet. I like the outboard canted feet as the unit isn't tippy when in use.

I play guitar mostly seated. Depending on whether it's my electric or acoustic, the same chair doesn't often suit. I just solved a nagging problem in one small purchase. The TFRM Tenor foot rest now goes in the gig bag, wherever I go. Well made, sturdy, and totally collapsible for travel. And BrandbyMail got it to me as if I'd rush ordered it, which I hadn't. They even bothered to check if I was happy. I'm such a wise shopper.....and I am happy.

It came promptly. It fits neatly in my guitar bag. I did not need instructions to use it. I can easily change positions as I need to. It does what I expect it to do and feels sturdy and reliable. Sure I would purchase another one if necessary and would definitely recommend it to others. The price is quite agreeable. As my posture and comfort level has improved I am sure so will my skills.

This stool really does make a difference when you play sitting down. I always propped my foot up on the leg of my chair or crossed my legs when I practice. I didn't think much of it until I happened to see a foot stool in a local guitar store. I decided to do some research on them at Amazon.com and chose this one because of the reviews. It seems to be well made and sturdy. I wouldn't suggest putting all of your weight on it, but for just resting your foot on while you play, it can't be beat.
