Video starts off with some brief sample footage. Amazon compresses video so you can't get a real feel for the video. The YouTube version of the video has better HD quality and extended footage. Rest of video shows what you get and walks you through the specific steps to use an Android phone or tablet with the free app iSmartDV. Wi-Fi is one of the cooler ways to monitor your video. I typically mount this on a helmet and use my phone as a monitor and controller - you'll see what the camera sees.

This comes with lots of connector things from 3M sticky pads, some velcro strips, lots of extendors, a clip-on device, and a waterproof case. I submerged it in my bathtub with tissue paper which came out dry after 30 minutes. You'll notice in the video that when I pop the camera in the waterproof case I click it closed a second time. That's because I didn't properly close it the first time. Also make sure the rubber seal has't gotten pinched or anything.

The 1080p 30fps video is quite excellent and this camera has some of the least "fish eye" effect of any of the cameras I've seen in this class. Audio, as usual for this class of budget camera, isn't that hot but it DOES work. The battery is a typical 900mAh Li-Ion brick but you can invest in better batteries or extra batteries if you want.

The settings for "burst mode" only allows 3 pictures each time you press the shutter button, no other options.

This is a killer deal... my other sports video cameras are a few years old but this little camera just blows me away in the quality of the video. This tim of year, we have vivid colors in the trees and the sky and you can capture that with this camera. Small, light, compact and with lots of goodies included like the waterproof case (with controls you can work with gloves on) and lots of different kinds of mounts. I've been using it on my motorcycle and the ability of the camera to edit out the vibs is wonderful. This would be a bargain at $100; at this price, it is just unbelievable.

I purchased this as my first action camera. I was a bit skeptical because of the price but I also did not want to start off by spending 3-4 hundred bucks on a GoPro as my first entry into the action camera craze. I did get the camera in a timely manner thanks to amazon prime, I got my camera in less than 24 hours. It came packed with a bunch of cool accessories which was very awesome. Now to the camera. It seems pretty standard as far as size and shape and will work with a lot of the GoPro stuff. Mine came with the waterproof housing and I have yet to test it but cant wait. Ive been using it for over a month now and I'm happy with the video quality and the sound quality is decent but it does get a little distorted at weird times, depends on your environment I guess. It can use a maximum of 32GB microSD card and get a good one that has a fast write speed. I like that it has a 2 inch LCD screen and that it has wifi and I can use my smartphone or tablet to start the recording or take picture remotely. I have used it with an Android phone and tablet and a iPad 3. So I have no issues there. The quality seems to be just fine as far as build goes. I haven't dropped it yet though and I don't plan to. The battery has lasted me about an hour so far and I haven't timed how long it takes to charge. I probably will purchase extra batteries soon so I can keep recording for more than 1 hour. The 32GB SD card that I use can store over 5 hours of 1080p footage so thats really cool. I really like it and I am happy with my purchase. Now why did i give it 4 stars? Well I ran into this weird issue. When i use wifi and the app on my phone to remote start the recording, the camera will record in 1 min clips. But thats not the problem.Read more ›

This was a gift. Person who recieved it found the manual very poorly written. They were disapointed you can not connect to the PC or computer to download from the camera. They do wish the stills would not be fisheyed. I agree but really most of these kinds of sport cameras only have that option. Would be great if you had a choice at the very least. Lots of little accessories and will no doubt be useful or some well. Others not so much. Will look into ways to attach to a car visor for car cam rather than put a sticky tape on the dash that can and might damage the finish on the dash for resale if not unsightful. A better manual. A way to connect to PC directly not just through the media card and better communication here on Amazon about what model is being sold and the differences between the models would be helpful. We wish we'd bought the non wi fi version and maybe the 170 degree camera but trying to tease out the information between the models and even going to their webpage at anart cc did not help figure it all out. At least not to new folks to this kind of camera. So far the little we find the video is ok not great but ok while the
still shots fall short of acceptable. Since we both take a lot of close ups I pointed out this was bought for use on bikes and maybe in cars some times and ski's etc. Not to take the place of a regular movie camera or any super tech digital camera either. The gadgets are nice. We are thinking of putting it in the water proof case for most of it's uses. I'm making a padded case for the camera in it's case and with a few small pockets to hold a few of the accessories. Providing the battery size out front would be helpful to be able to pick up spare right off and also the right style of SD card would be nice to share with buyers at the time too.Read more ›
