I was hesitant to purchase these Balaclava. I have had bad experiences in the past with ski masks. They always make me hot and sweaty and they are itchy. Also I wear glasses and with ski masks they always fog up. Well, I was going to be spending some time on the mountain and needed something to keep my face warm so I decided to give these Balaclava a try. The price was right and you get 2 of them. When these arrived I was really surprised at how light weight they are. I tried one on and my husband tried the other on. I have an average size head that is round. It fit wonderfully. It was very comfortable. It was warm but not suffocating and when I put my glasses on I was able to breathe without my glasses totally fogging up. My husband’s head is rather large and slightly odd shaped. The balaclava fit him beautifully. He, too found it to be very comfortable to wear. When I took mine off I began stretching and poking my fingers into it. I was impressed because it didn’t rip and the mask returned to its original shape. I highly recommend these balacava’s.

I stumbled upon these Balaclava face masks while looking tactical gear for my brother in law. He absolutely loves things like this for hunting and whatnot. So for this price, I figured why not give em' a try? After they came a few days later, I decided to try one out and if I liked it, my brother in law would only get the other one lol.

And to my surprise, I really enjoy wearing it. We have some really cold winters here in Indiana and I've never been a huge fan of normal winter wear. Scarves and normal winter face masks just itch my beard and prevent normal air flow, but not these. You can breath perfectly fine, and it really is comfortable. I'll definitely be wearing this every time I shovel snow or anything else out in the cold. Really good product everyone. Absolutely five-stars.

My shipment arrived quickly. I've worn this four times while snowboarding so far and I am very pleased. Even though it is thin, it keeps my face very warm. I did notice that if I am trying to talk to someone the material kind of gets sucked in a little bit around my mouth. I solved this by pulling it away from my mouth a little bit while speaking.

This is a great product if you are looking for a facemask to keep you warm in the winter. I am a first responder and work outside and I needed something that could go under my helmet and would keep me warm when I am out in the elements. This facemask is lightweight but it keeps you really warm. It slips over your face easily and has a tight fit, but not to tight so it’s uncomfortable. Most other tactical masks don’t stay put and are usually hard to get over your head. I like the fact that the mask covers your ears and most of your face, but stays put so it doesn’t slip down and cover your eyes. I love the fact that you get two for this price; it’s a great deal and high quality. I will be back for more.

When I gave them to my sons their first words were, "Wicked!" and "Sick!" Both slang for, "these are awesome!" As a family of avid skiers this face mask has come in handy. It keeps the the face warm but is light weight and breathable. The material is so comfortable and seems to be a true one-size fits all. I am so glad this came in a 2-pack!

I live in a cold weather enviroment and after reading the reviews about the Balaclava mask I thought it would do what I needed it to. It didn't stand up to the high 40 low 50's weather at all. It's a looser fitting mask so when your breathing in and out the mask is being sucked into your mouth and nostrils. I think it would be good if your walking around when it's cold out, but when your cycling and moving at a brisk pace it's not the mask you can rely on.

This product is at a good price, and one should be aware that it is made of very thin fabric, just slightly denser than nylon pantyhose. .

The advantage is that it takes very little space. So it is easily tagged along and is better than having nothing in case you are caught in cold windy conditions.

The disadvantage is that it does not provide a great deal of cold protection. It is okay to just take the brunt of the wind chill, say it is is useful for me for biking at near freezing temperature level or just below (under helmet). But is to thin in very cold temperatures.

But, I haven't tried to double it up, meaning put one on top of the other. Which is the reason I like getting two of them!

Spending my entire life in Chicago, I’m no stranger to cold and windy winters. I have to replace my winter gear every year because it wears out, and the one piece that I could never find that I liked was a facemask…until now. I picked up these Balaclava masks and I love them! I spend a lot to time doing activities outside (snowboarding, motorcycle, snow mobile, shoveling, etc.) and me face and hands are the only parts of my body that get cold. I bought some great gloves last year, and now I have the best mask as well. I couldn’t believe how well these work because they are so light when you pick them up. Regardless of how they feel I can breathe easily while wearing it, and it still blocks the wind without the area around the mouth getting moist and freezing. The other really cool thing that I liked was that they fit anyone; they came as a 2 pack and the fit both me and my wife. It’s such an amazing piece of gear, for a price you can’t beat. For once I’m kind of looking forward to the colder weather.
