Update: OurWarm would not take this back - said shipping back to China is too far and expensive. They did give me a partial refund. I received my scope two days ago and along with the package is a manual with two CR codes to scan to download the app(s) for the camera. My Galaxy did not want to install these apps because they do not come from a "trusted source" (ie like Google Play). So I changed my security settings to allow them to be installed. the camera worked fine, However, the next time I used my phone browser porn images came up which I could not close and it launched EVERY APP ON MY PHONE! My phone browser was permanently hijacked, and a ransom malware virus took over my phone telling me I have 5 minutes to buy an unlock or my battery would be permanently damaged. Their app may or may not have had the virus, but their download site definitely did and came along for the ride. Fortunately, my carrier (Verizon) was able to clean it up for me, If I can find a safe app to use, I'll keep the scope - if not, I'll return it. Be careful out there and trust your phone security settings!

One star for including a VIRUS on the install CD. I mean, what the hell???! Who does that?!?

The camera works if you find your own software, but still - including a virus on the install CD is ridiculous. Only in China...

It has allowed me to see, things that were unreachable before.
I surprised my dentist during my last visit; I am in need of replacing a crown which has cracked. I was able to see in my tablet (so does she) the condition of the crown and why it need it to be replaced.
I also used to see the outlet of the water dispenser in my refrigerator, which I need it so see in order to fix it.
My curiosity is so immense that I started to use it for almost anything that was outside of my view.
I extremely highly recommend you get one of these, as you go along you will find multi uses for it.
I am using an app in Google Play named “ Basic USB Camera” by shop1234net, it’s easy to use, no ads, no complications and it is more secure (because it is in Google Play)than installing the one suggested by the camera manufacturer, which is some obscure site in china.

the app is loaded with spam can't even get to the settings becuase of banner adds. browser hijacked lots of porn!!!!!! Had to reset the phone. Like I said If I could give it a zero I would

For the price $10 this thing is great. Mine adds a strange blue hue to images all the time and the focus is a bit blurry. I purchased this to look through spark plug holes and examine piston/valve damage . It does not work very well for that purpose unfortunately ,the camera wire is a bit too flimsy . Included accessories are very nice! They screw onto the tip, you cant loose them! I've only uses this with my note 3 phone so far so I cant say how pc resolution will look. But definately worth it for 10 bucks!

This thing is fantastic! I have no idea what happened with all the other guys who said they had viruses downloaded with the app, mine works great! Being a Maintenance tech this thing is a life saver! Plug it right into my galaxy s4 whenever I need to see hard to reach spots. I have also used it to inspect a piston, cylinder wall, and spark plug threads in a recessed plug well after one of the service vans spat a plug out. For as cheap as it was, I am amazed at how great the image quality is! This little camera is quite a handy tool. I am looking forward to exploring other jobs that I will need to use it for.
