I have been using this product for 1 week now and it has been great! I originally bought it to help with night sweats but whoa, it does everything! My skin looks better, my energy has increased, my libido has picked up AND yes, the night sweats are gone. I no longer have cramps or mood swings from PMS and my periods are lighter. I only take 2 pills a day. I tried the recommended dose and it put me to sleep. Find your dose but take it faithfully or all your symptoms will come back. I received this at a discounted rate for my unbiased and honest review.

I wanted to try this supplement to help with perimenopause, cervical, period and PMS symptoms. I have been taking the Dong Quai for about 9 days now. I have noticed it lessening night sweats slightly. I'm not certain about how much it helped hot flashes, I may have to see when I finish the entire bottle. I definitely noticed it helping with period issues though. It made my period lighter and shorter. I am 44 and as as I getting older, my cramps are more painful. The Dong Quai came close to eliminating cramps completely.I would get VERY cranky immediately before my periods. However, after starting this supplement I don't think I even PMS'd this month. I think it also lessened my craving for sugar, because I haven't wanted any and sweets taste too sweet now. I have had side effects like nausea or migraines from other female cycle supplements. I have had no side effects with this. I would highly recommend this for period symptom relief and some perimenopause relief. I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion, thanks!!

I purchased this for my daughter who has a terrible time each month with her period and pms. Since she began taking it she has told me that her last monthly was not as painful with cramps and the pms wasn't as bad. She can be a real bear that time of the month and I too noticed a difference. The dong quai obviously does help so she will continue taking it. She noted no unpleasant side effects such as stomach cramping or after taste. The capsules are not overly large so they're easy to swallow. I did receive this at a discount in exchange for my honest review of it.

I'm taking this Dong Quai in an effort to even out my hormones. I had a Chinese medicine provider recommend it to me, though she called it female ginseng, and it's also known as angelica. I looked it up when I got home and found:
"It has been used for more than 2,000 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a tonic for those with low vitality, fatigue, pelvic pain and irregular menstrual cycles. Merck introduced the herb to the Western world in 1899 under the trade name Eumenol, a product designed to ease menstrual pain. Modern science has confirmed that dong quai does have a beneficial effect on inflammation, as well as pain-relieving and muscle-relaxant effects. Whether dong quai has hormonal-mimicking effects is unclear. Studies in women have failed to show any change in hormone levels, while cells studies suggest a possible estrogenic effect."
I'm hoping that it's helpful for my heavy menstrual cycle. Watch this space, I'll be back with a more in depth review after I've taken it for a month. :)

These are my best friend when it comes to those PMS symptoms or even lower back pain/cramps during my period or just before. They can make bleeding worse, so I have to be careful as I am a heavy flow for up to 8 days (used to be 10... gah!) And you definitely don't want to use them while pregnant and different women will respond to them differently, apparently. I do get night sweats around the hormone change that brings on my period and this takes care of them almost completely! If you've heard anything about Dong Quai helping in these areas, I can speak from experience that it does.
This particular brand and dosage is faster acting with good results and there's less of that 'herbal' smell with these capsules than others, which I appreciate.
I've taken it before but was too lazy to go get any, so I can honestly say that I was excited to receive a deep discount on this product sample for testing and an honest review.

I was very happy try this after I read about all the great things it does for PMS and menstrual cycles and hormones. I have been taking it for about 2 weeks. The capsules are very easy to swallow and leave no bad aftertaste. I have also had no adverse side effects to this, only positive. Usually I have very heavy periods, with bad cramps, heavy bleeding and clotting and lower back pain, along with awful mood swings and intense highs and lows. I am in my mid to upper 30's and this happened in my teen years and then went away until about a year ago. I have to say my symptoms have diminished by 50% since I started taking this which is huge. I am more than happy with the results, my period was lighter with less cramping and I was not moody. I feel so fortunate to have found this. I received this item at a discounted price and exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I would like to try this Dong Quai 530mg. by Best Naturals to alleviate some of my female issues specially my period has irregular cycle maybe because I'm close to menopausal . I'd been taking the supplement for almost two weeks and have noticed the difference in my body . It actually reduced my painful cramps and most of all it suppressed my hot flashes and no more night sweats . Dong Quai works for me , I feel that it has many benefits since I took them , but its too early to tell . I'll have to finish the whole bottle to see full results . Highly recommended for women's issues . I received the product at a discount price in exchange with my honest review .
