Overall this is a great flash drive, it gets around 140MBs read and 40MBs write (Slightly slower than the 64GB version). It's not quite as fast as the SanDisk extreme version but it's the fastest metal drive I've found, you can see a benchmark in the attached image.
The metal design seems sturdy and should hopefully hold up to being thrown around with my keys. My only complaint would be that the drive is part metal (silver portion) and the key ring part is plastic (black/grey portion in picture). I was hoping it would be all metal but the plastic key ring seems sturdy and it should hold up over time. One other note is that the drive can get very warm when doing large transfers, it's to be expected for a small metal drive like this but it's worth mentioning.

The SanDisk Ultra Flair 3.0 USB flash drive is strikingly small and light. In fact, when it arrived in a shipping envelope, I though that the envelope was empty. Inside was the drive however, sealed inside of it's blister-pack card.
It also looks good. Most of it's exterior is metal, like a brushed steel. It has a hard plastic "heel" (smoky grey color) which serves as the loop to attache to your key-chain. Given it's size and weight, it is the perfect key-chain USB drive since it will be very unobtrusive, in fact you will probably forget it's there.
As expected, it is fast. My read times benchmark at about 145 MB/s and write times at about 60 MB/s.

very disappointed - a trusted name and very fast but a very poor design - the USB flash drive gets extremely hot under normal use - I can't explain it since this never happened before especially with SanDisk flash drives - I would not recommend it and very likely will return the items (I bought 2 of them)

Fast on start up but come to a crawl within seconds , so this unit may seem fast if you copy small file but any files above 1GB it slowed down drastically like an old usb2, I copy a media folder from my computer with 20.03gb to this USB drive it and it took 35 minutes and 28 seconds about 10.8MB/second, so I test on a second and third computer the perform about the same, also I copy that same folder from this USB drive back to my computer it took 5 minutes and 21 seconds about 67.1MB/second .

One of my least favorite Sandisk product and I own many of them over the years, this flash drive is much smaller than it look and kind of cheap quality , I don't think the plastic part will hold up in your key ring long before it fell apart .
However my biggest complaint it get VERY HOT very fast , so hot it's nearly untouchable after 3 minutes plunged into my USB3 port
