Pros:
+ Excellent character likenesses, articulation and color scheme.
+ Simple, but sensible and versatile setpiece.
+ Modest assortment of vital accessories.
+ Impressively dynamic action feature.
+ Thoughtful inclusion of extra pieces to boost the value and play potential of the central character.

Cons:
- Possibly less-than-ideal action feature?
- In this case, my Leonardo figure's right hand is slightly prone to coming out of socket.

This set is a quick and easy build with not too many parts, and no stickers. The figures are above and beyond in terms of design, appearance, and features. The clever consideration that went into what's here makes it feel like this was designed by real fans of the subject matter.

The biggest drawback I can see is that if you're expecting the crate-throwing action feature to work the way you might imagine, you could be a little disappointed. The crates have handles that snap firmly into the figures hands (which is good!) and the throwing arm has a very strong and widely arcing swing (also good!), but the figure's grip is so strong that it can't be expected to reliably release the crate for a satisfying throw. However, it's easy enough to start the arm in a backward position, place the crate loosely over the hand using the wide open bottom, and conceivably get a very nice throw that way.

One of the best things about the action feature is that the crates are made of a very soft, but firm rubbery plastic. You can feel confident about tossing them around recklessly, slamming them into the figures as intended without concern about damaging any of the pieces with scuffs or paint chips. It is tiny!! Pay attention to the details (specs) unlike me... The figures about 1.5 inches, in total the whole set is only 4 oz. the pics make it look much bigger, like a whole ninja turtle play set. It is not. I bought it as a gift for a neighbor and I am embarrassed to give it to him, will have to buy something else to go along with. I attached a pic with a water bottle for scale- the play set is about the same size (without even taking it out the box)
