There are so many things wrong with this version of Printshop that they shouldn't be selling it. One problem that gives an error and shuts it down demands (after looking it up on the Web site) that you go to AppData\Local\ (etc) and delete the file that has just been created there.
Finally, got it working, made a card, but it gave a print error. After trying a couple hours, still no luck printing. Contacted customer support who said to make certain latest driver was installed for the printer. It was, so received a second message telling us it is a known problem with the software that is being worked on (28 December 2015), but date of fix is unknown. They suggested saving the project as a JPEG or PDF file and then printing from another program.
The program gives an error when trying to create a PDF file. Repeated tries all failed.
Program does not allow selection of printer or set-up of printer.
Program installs in the tray, but cannot be opened from the tray, only closed.
Program automatically integrates Microsoft Outlook calendar and wants you to click to open the integrated file each time the program is loaded.
Buy an older version.

Printshop is a great product. I'm so in loved with my 23 version but it don't work right with my Windows 7 operating system. It would just print one copy of multiple requested copies so I thought that the Professional would group my 23 projects and work smoothly but it didn't work like that.

RECEIVED DVD THIS DATE. HAVE TRIED TO LOAD IT MULTIPLE TIMES, DOES NOT LOAD. TRIED OTHER PROGRAMS TO LOAD AND HAD NO PROBLEM. TRIED THE DOWNLOAD COUPON IN PACKAGE, BUT ENCORE WANTS TO CHARGE ME AGAIN FOR THE PROGRAM. THEIR ON SCREEN HELP ACTION DID NOT WORK. SENT INQUIRY TO THEIR TECH SUPPORT BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED REPLY YET. SINCE I HAVE NEVER HAD A DVD PROGRAM FAIL IN THE PAST, AT THIS POINT I AM COMPLETELY FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED IN QUALITY OF BROADERBUND PRODUCT. IF/WHEN THIS IS RESOLVED, WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW.
UPDATE TO REVIEW: HELP DESK ASSISTED ME TO GET THE PROGRAM LOADED. WORKING IN CALENDAR, IT IS VERY SLOW TO IMPLEMENT COMMANDS. ALSO, IT HAS THROWN ME OUT OF THE PROGRAM 3X SO FAR TODAY BECAUSE IT LOCKS UP WHEN ATTEMPTING TO INSERT A PHOTO TO THE CALENDAR. ALSO, THE HELP SCREENS ARE NOT VERY HELPFUL - FOLLOWED THE ONE FOR CALENDARS, AND IT LEAVES OUT MANY REQUIRED STEPS. I AM ALREADY LOOKING FOR JUST A SEPARATE CALENDAR PROGRAM TO REPLACE THIS ONE.

First off, it load the "Smilebox" software without my permission. I immediately deleted it. Then, I wanted to make my Christmas postcards I have made for years using Print Shop 23. I have also been given the option to use Avery Template for 4-to-a-page printing. There is no Avery templates in this version (some kind of "Professional"); you have to create your own custom paper. Then, I was trying to crop a photo and I got an error message that my photo size used too much memory and that I had to close the photo editor. I closed the entire program. Later I tried to start the program and got and error box that read "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. Object reference not set to an instance of an object." The program would not start. This is the worst piece of software I have ever seen. I have been using Broderbund "Printmaster" and "The Print Shop" for over 20 years and have never had any problems with them (5 or six different version over that time.) I will be returning this for a refund. Don't buy it.

This is the worst printshop in the world!! I had printshop 23 and LOVED it but bought a new computer with windows10 and had to upgrade printshop. This program will ONLY let you do line spacing 1.0 1.5 or 2.0....gone is the ability to totally customize your text! I HATE THIS product!!!

Thankfully I got this for practically nothing through a special Amazon offer. This needs to be upgraded. I used the other print shop for years, but now with Windows 10 they don't work. Too bad Encore doesn't care about their customer's feedback. Maybe they're going out of business. IDK

Everything arrived promptly....this has a low rating for software...as it has for the previous editions but I've have used print shop for years. I wouldn't use it if my husband hadn't been a programmer, a system analysis, a dba, software developer...etc.

I bought this to replace my Print Shop 22, which the information presented said was compatible with Print Shop 1-- but, no, Print Shop 1 didn't want to work with my address book from my Print Shop 22. Very disappointing.
