I was interested in this glove because I frequently grate ginger for tea, and when the piece is small, I end up hitting my fingernails on the grater and ruining my manicure. It has served it's purpose well; when I use the glove now, the grater does not ruin my fingernails. It is also great for preventing cutting my fingers when cutting fruits and veggies, as I seem to be very accident prone!
The only thing I don't really like about the glove is that it can be a little itchy if you have sensitive skin as I do. When my knuckles touch the inside of the glove, it feels like there are little wires from inside the glove poking my skin, which can be uncomfortable. Please be advised that these gloves do stain; the fingers of mine are now yellow from using them with ginger, even after being hand washed afterwards. However, I do think this glove will prove to be very durable, as it feels like it is made well.
I do recommend this glove to others, as it does what it is supposed to do, and I feel that it will last a long time. I think it would make a great gift for accident prone people, and those who want to protect their fingernails. I received this discounted product for my honest review, but my opinions are my own and unbiased, not influenced in any way by receiving a discount. I welcome both positive and negative feedback!

I am stupid and clumsy when it comes to cutting sometimes, especially when using the mandolin. I'm actually surprised I haven't lost a finger yet.
I used this glove while cutting a chicken into parts recently, and I was surprised at its strength. I ran the blade across the palm of my hand and not only did I not feel anything, the fabric didn't even notice.
This is a great glove for everyday cutting, and I look forward to using it next time I have to do slicing, as that's my biggest fear and problem area. The only thing I didn't like about the glove was that it felt a little "cheap" because the finger had a slight hole in it, and parts of the glove have larger gaps between the material. These are awesome- I have another set of silicone ones but I was looking for something that were a little more maneuverable and these are perfect. They also come up a lot further on my arm. Size: Medium-One Glove
Normally you see butchers wearing these gloves when they are using their razor sharp knives and doing fast repretative motions. They are now availible to the everyone whcih is great. I know I have had an accident or two, and sometimes I have people who jsut are not to comfortable with food prep and I wish I had one of these to give to them to hold the product they are cutting. The medium glove fits wonderfully and does not feel like metal at all or very heavy and cumbersome.
Now there are no more worries unless they stab the point of the knife through the glove, which is still quite hard. I am happy to use it when doing a filet cut or the last cut of whatever is hard to make.
I reccomment this product, especially at the price point.

Size: Large-Two Gloves
The cutting prevention gloves are a gem for me. I use a knife every night making dinner and on weekends for breakfast. I am clutsy, aftraid of knives so I hesitate every time. I have been using the gloves, cautiously, because I was still afraid. Not anymore! I accidently slipped cutting a really thick vegetable, the gloves saved me from a would of been deep cut. Teaching the kids to cook, I have had them use the gloves as well. They are not bulky, fit well, non slip. (You need a secure fit to cut correctly). They are comfortable, not scratchy feeling. I have small hands but they also fit my husbands hands. He used them for a bbq meat. Washed well, did not lose their shape or unraveled, used the gentle cycle. Stain from the bbq came right out. Recommend the gloves for sure.
