Has all the forms that were on the 2013 deluxe program. Intuit did meet their promise to restore all schedules c,d,e back as they were. I think you should believe them & if used in 2013,you can use 2015 version of the deluxe.

I am happy to report that I am able to enter all my Schedule C deductions, etc. using the interview questions. At one point the program suggested I upgrade and I simply chose not to and it was smooth sailing. That said, make certain you save your document saved as you would a regular file on desktop. I was used to using the online version in past years which prompts you to save and exit. The desktop does not. And because of that reason and the fact that I had to ask about 5 questions before purchasing Deluxe is why I give it 5 stars. The back of the packaging is still deceitful in its appearance looking like you need a much more expensive version in order to enter Schedule C and investment information when you do not. This is for the desktop version (the online version is a different story).

Been using TT since the late 1980s. I just spoke with cust service (1/27/2016) and warned them that a Schedule D storm is coming, yet again. The "List of forms" clearly includes Schedule D as being available in TT Deluxe. However, the cust service gal personally opened up the desktop program herself to enter a few basic stock trades. The program alerted her that TT Premier must be purchased. So, Schedule D is visible, perhaps, but does not function in this most basic way if you only buy TT Deluxe.
I asked her to speak with Management about yet another deception that most customers will discover in mid-April. If TT Tax wants us to pay more to use Schedule D, just be up front about it in a huge, honest banner!

Hi there, let me reassure you that upgrading is completely optional, as you can access Schedule D just as you could in our 2013 and earlier versions. We always recommend Premier if you have investments because of the additional guidance it provides for certain tax situations, but we have restored all forms to all of our desktop products (you can access these using forms mode). I hope this helps clear up any confusion!

Preface this by saying I've used TurboTax for 30 years, and other than the annual escalation in price was pretty happy until the 2014 forms screwup last year. Assured online that the form problems were fixed this year, I started my 2015 return in mid Jan. with the 'free' online version, but it is worthless... you now have to buy Deluxe to import your data... so on Feb 1 I paid $24.99 for snailmail delivery of the TT Deluxe CD and got... you guessed it... the Online upgrade version. And my card was billed $34.99... $10 more than the website listed. Then I couldn't access it after I logged out because it didn't show up under my 30 year old user id. Only by going to the Quicken site did I discover that TTax used my email as my user id, and now I have two user id's. So I tried the new id and couldn't import my 2014 return info or my 2016 Quicken data. But with the old id I can access my 2014 return but not my 2015 s/w. I tried for 6 days to contact them without any luck.. On hold or 'call back' for nearly an hour twice, and when they called back my call was dropped both times... the first time while waiting for a human to come on the line, the 2nd when I was 30 seconds into the conversation. Finally, after waiting again for nearly an hour for a call back, I got to talk to a human. I told her I ordered the CD and wanted that instead on the online version, and she told me it would be $59 more, and that my initial purchase was nonrefundable. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was put on hold for 12 minutes, then was told I would get a callback from the supervisor "within minutes". That was 10 hours ago, and no callback yet, so I stopped payment on my credit card. TurboTax, your P-Poor customer service and inflated prices have driven me away; looks like I'll be doing my returns with TaxAct from now on.

Shame on me ...for not checking that this box does not include state. It is the exact package that the Deluxe with state has with very a small label difference. Now I don't mind paying some stupid tax but the cost of the state package from here is $44 dollars. The cost of Deluxe with State and Federal is $40.95. AM I MISSING SOMETHING - To the marketing geniuses at Intuit - last chance after last year's screw up. Make it right or H&R Block is only $30. and guess where I am headed if I don't get the fit answer when I call.

Hi T.G. No shaming, the internet provides a wide variety of options and usually finds everything that is available to purchase. This version is intended for our users that have no state income tax, and the price you see for the download is for additional states (since the software did not come with a state, any states downloaded would be considered additional).
