Aging, fatigue, allergies, sun exposure and heredity are the common causes of dark circles around the eyes. With aging, the skin thins and there is loss of fat and collagen from under the skin, exposing dark colored veins. Hyaluronic acid is a benign filler that can be injected under the skin to fill the hollows. Expensive procedure!

This cream takes advantage of the new research that topical application of hyaluronic acid on skin surface results in its absorption into the skin, through the top layer epidermis into the deeper layer dermis. So research backs up the claim that hyaluronic acid is absorbed through skin but I have not seen the published research that you can actually see the hollows under the eyes filled up. It could be proprietary unpublished research.

I have used it for 5 days and as of yet I am not sure if it makes a noticeable difference. According to the label you should notice the difference after 1 use then really well in 4 weeks. Although label says that it is ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested, I find that it aggravates my eye allergies. So I do not know what that testing was for.

After 5 days of use, I am not sure if it causes perceptible difference.

I'm not the reviewing type and am usually suspicious of overly raving chants about products. I'm more of a "I have to see it to believe it" person. Well girls, I saw and I believe! I really really love it! This entire product line offers a type of skincare to help with the aging process so many of us are trying to keep at bay.
It comes in very attractive high end packaging, is easy to use and the instructions are clear and simple. On the back of the box, they explain a little about the aging process, and what Hyalauronic Acid does, and how it dissipates as we age I think this is valuable because it shows a scientific understanding which they use in their labs to formulate products. The dispenser id very nice, a sturdy plastic tube, with a clear point type applicator which gives out just the right amount of product with a gentle squeeze, so it's not wasteful...I like that A LOT! The cover is clear and clicks on to keep your tube nice and clean and germ free.
I've been using this product now consistently for about 9 days now and I can see a definite difference in the fine lines area around my eyes. I have to say I didn't have really deep major wrinkling there but the fine lines that you see when you smile and now kinda like to stick around after your smile has faded!I
I've been using it twice a day along with the other products in this Revitalift line. My skin was absolutely more hydrated, and the under eye hollows which have become more pronounced in the past year, have begun to appear fuller and less indented. I will continue to use this line with lots of excitement because my son is getting married in April, and I want to look my best!

One of the best things about this eye cream... it doesn't make my face oily! I know, you usually don't worry about an oily face when using eye cream. As a person with super extra oily skin, I have had so many eye creams that are greasy to the touch after I apply it. But, this product does not leave my eyes greasy!!!
I used this product for 8 weeks to be sure about any effect it had.
The little lines around my eyes are definitely much smaller (I'm 39... those laugh lines are hard earned!). As a mother of four, even with seven hours of sleep a night, dark circles under my eyes are a given. After 8 weeks, the darkness has definitely decreased.
I give this product a 4 out of 5 because I would like an eye cream that had an immediate effect as well as long term.
I will definitely be purchasing this product when I run out... I'll just keep my concealer handy :)
No makeup, no filters on the pic... just bad lighting :)

I received my Loreal Revitalift Volumn filler VoxBox from Influenster for review. I'm a 31 year old young woman who is finally seeing the effects of aging. I squint from my sensitivity to light and by habit now. My problem areas are between my eyebrows and on my forehead. My pores are also becoming more noticeable than they used to. So keep that in mind during my review.

My favorite of the Loreal VoxBox was the Revitalift Eye Treatment. It is silky smooth and has really hydrated my eyes. I have really dark circles, naturally, and my eyes always seem to lack the hydration that the rest of my face does. It didn't feel heavy which is a big plus for me. So many eye treatments feel goopy, thick and almost sticky. This was none of those and even with the hydration it gave me it was actually pretty thin

I can't really say if it helped with my dark circles, we are already getting bouts of allergans here in Texas with our extremely mild winter, and that is a cause for some of my dark circles. However, I really feel like this helped with some of my puffiness and loosening skin. I have really sensitive skin and for the first three days I felt a slight burn after applying it. There was no redness or aggravated pimples that decided to pop up so I felt no need to discontinue use. I'm glad I stuck it out because I really feel like this product did it's job when you take into consideration the price and the fact that this isn't a hundred dollar serum that you get in a tiny bottle from the department store or plastic surgeons office. It's benefits outweigh the costs and that's always a great feeling, to really feel like you are making a difference in your skin.

Overall, I was pleased with the Loreal Revitalift line.Read more ›
