Garnier Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Daily Moisturizer has a nice citrus, floral fresh smell to it. It has the consistency of a mid weight facial cream however it absorbs fairly quickly into the skin, you could use this under your makeup without any issues. Has an SPF of 15 which is ok but I personally would wish for something a bit higher. I am currently in the winter months and normally I have oily acne prone skin but because of the cold I now have shiny,dry, acne prone skin. Garnier Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Daily Moisturizer is very moisturizing, it does keep my skin nice, soft and shine free however its not too rich that it causes my skin to breakout.

While not a bad sunscreen face lotion, this is not my favorite. The texture is nice, it's thick but doesn't pull on the skin when spreading. It's got a nice citrus scent, and does a nice job of making my skin feel moisturized. However, it doesn't work well underneath my makeup, it gives my foundation the problem of early oxidation, and after about an hour my skin looks shiny. And while I have used it alone, it still feels slick in about an hours time.
I love the pump dispenser, and the price per ounce is a value. But, it hasn't given my skin the promised boost of brightening, and is only okay on it's own. So while I will finish this, I won't be repurchasing.

Good sunscreen ingredients. Contains chemical rather than mineral sunscreens, but they have not migrated into my eyes and caused stinging. Very pleasant texture, thick without being pasty. What concerns me, among other things, is that Benzyl Salicylate is one of the ingredients (the tenth listed). It is a known allergen used for several different purposes, primarily for fragrance. I did not have an allergic reaction to it or my rating would be lower. Also included are limonene and linalool, which can cause contact dermatitis, although again, I did not experience this. I don't see any reason to include such irritants in moisturizers and sunscreens, so I will not repurchase this even though I found it pleasant enough to use. I am not aware of any value to the many fragrance additives in this sunscreen, so I will look elsewhere. To the manufacturer's and seller's credit, all the information about ingredients is prominently displayed on Amazon's product page. I should have done my research before I ordered instead of after, but I hope you can benefit from what I found out.

The product works well as a light moisturizer. It also provides sun protection with is great for me to use when I am out and about. I don't consider it a sun protection product good enough for when I am out gardening. For that, I want something with a higher SPF rating. The product has a light citrus scent, so be aware of that if you are sensitive to fragrances.

This stuff is so good! It's a creamy lotion that has a really nice finish on my combination skin. It's moisturizing and lightweight. My favorite part is the smell, it smells so fresh and delicious. It has broad spectrum SPF 15, vitamin c, hyaluronic acid, LHA and works well under makeup. I took this to New York and it helped keep my facial skin from drying out. It's great, I got another bottle from target and it came with a compact mirror so that was nice.

I live in the north and as such my skin really takes a beating in the winter time! Once the first cold days start to hit and everyone is heating their homes & businesses my skin starts to dry severely! I have tried alot of items to combat my dry facial skin however I always end up with dry itchy skin. I was so happy to be a part of Crowdtap & get to host a party & try the new Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Daily Moisturizer and sunscreen! I tried it for the first time after I had showered. My face had such dry skin in my T-zone! I applied the moisturizer/sunscreen to my face and it immediately revealed the itching that I was having! The dry spots felt smoother and the moisturizer did not leave any residue or heavy feeling on my face! I have to say after using this for a little bit now, it is a product I will continue to use! Not only do I find it the perfect moisturizer for my face, I also love that it has a light SPF. I feel like I"m protecting my skin in more then one way! I love this product!
