I have tried so many different phone mounts and to say I was disappointed is a under statement, when I saw this mount from Marsboy i was eager to try it out. The design of this mount is what first caught me, I really like the ball and movement. It is very compact and stainless look of it makes it stand out. Yes this is to use in your car/truck but you can use it on almost any surface, Me I choose to place beside my computer so when sitting down on the computer I dont have to jump up all the time to get my phone. Installing this mount so super easy, just clean the surface you want to put it, peal off the back and press down, You also get a Magnetic disc for the back of your phone. The adhesive is very strong and has a very study hold, both disc fit secure. This mount also rotates, you can move the ball around to where you like your phone, the grip of the two disc holds it in place without losing connection. I will now be sitting at the computer a little longer now that I can have my phone in my sight line. Overall I really like this mount and havent seen any drawbacks. Marsboy has some great accessories and this is no exception. This is a Rotatable Mini Magnet Mount for your smart phone/device. This has a super strong magnet - I have an iPhone 6 Plus, so there is some size to it and it holds my phone with no problem. You simply peel the backing off the holder (it uses 3M tape which is very high quality adhesive) and set the mount where you want it. Then you place one of the metal plates on the back of your phone - and there you have it....the handiest cell phone holder - or tablet, iPod, etc. It rotates a full 360 degrees so positioning is no problem. In my car when I use my phone for maps, I want my phone in the landscape mode or if I am on a call, I usually leave it in portrait mode. The magnet is very strong and will hold your device securely, even going over bumps or around corners. I love anything that makes me hands free, and this makes that happen, no problem. I received this product free for an honest, unbiased review.

This item arrived exactly as shown. It was well packaged and in a manufacturer package.
I was surprised at how sturdy this item is, a nice heavy (but not too heavy) metal arm that attaches securely to the dash via a tight sticky grip. The directions state that you stick the magnet to the back of your case, but I actually did not use the sticky feature and put mine directly inside the case and it still had a super tight grip and held my phone really securely in place. It's small but really flexible and it rotates 360 degree horizontally and 180 degrees vertically.
NOTE that the holder uses 3M adhesive and can only be stuck to the dash once. You definitely want to make sure that you put this exactly where you are going to want it to stay in your vehicle before sticking it!
Marsboy offers a 1 year warranty and 24h emails support. I did email customer support with a general question for the sake of the review and they got back to me within 15 minutes of my request with an answer and some helpful information.

I have tried many cel phone holders and this one is by far the best.
What an innovative idea! This is basically three pieces. The part that attaches to you car, the part that attaches to the ball and a disc that attaches to your phone. Because this is a 3 piece unit it allows many things that the other holders do not. 1. This does not attach to the AC vent, so it doesn't fall off every 5 minutes or block your cool air!
2. The ball allows you to swivel the phone around, so it is at a desirable angle.
3. It comes with an additional sticker to attach holder to the car. An extra disc magnet for the phone would have been nice.
4. This allows your phone to sit flush on the car so it won't get in your way.

This is the best mount i ever had. It might be small but it can do its job pretty well. I did have those that you put on you air vent but it keeps falling and the one that stuck on your windshield but they take too much space. I've been waiting to have this kind of cellphone holder. And its easy to put together you just need to put the magnet on your cellphone case rather than the phone they said some magnets put directly can ruin tour phone. I put it on my case. And the small stand i stick it on the top my dashboard and it stayed. I tried to test and put my phone traveling from work to home and it never drop it stays pretty good. Now i don't have problem keep picking up my phone when i need to used my GPS. I can see it perfectly. This product is awesome. Highly recommended.
