The first two things I noticed about this wrap upon removing it from its packaging: the thickness of the fabric and the excellent craftsmanship.
The fabric, both the exterior and lining, is a thick canvas. Each of the stitches is tight and straight-- not a single dropped stitch (and I looked). Aside from a tiny bit of fabric overhang on one side (and I do mean *tiny*), the construction is darn near perfect.
The elephant design is simple and playful, yet refined. The colour, however, is closer to a deep purple than a true blue or navy. I actually like the colour more in person than in its picture.
Fully open, it's about 32" (not including the string closure), and about 8" high. It held 72 pencils without skipping a beat; a covered section along the bottom protects the points; and it easily rolls up and ties closed even when full.
If there was a complaint, it would be that the lead protection section tends to bunch up as you roll it up, but it's such a minor inconvenience that I wouldn't even deduct half a star.
Overall, this is a well-made and convenient pencil storage solution.
NB: If it ever becomes necessary, I do plan to wash this--with the assumption that it's cotton--- and will update this review accordingly.
UPDATE: I've since laundered this wrap and it laundered well, no fading. (Cold, normal wash, tumble dry.)

This is a beautiful, Canvas Roll -Up Case For 72 pencils........I picked the design "Starry Night", by artist Vincent van Gogh, because that painting has always been an inspiration to me since I saw it in a Museum.....
The entire Pencil Pouch is made of 100 % Canvas with two cords to roll it up and secure your precious pencils........Especially, the expensive ones I own.....It comes with 6 decorative beads which is really cool........I added them to each cord.......The beads are plastic with colorful matching stripes that add a little, pizazz to it.......I love it................
I would definitely buy again from this company.......Probably another design for the rest of my pencils, because I have a lot of different varieties....

It is made well, and works well. I really like the flap that protects the tip of the colored pencils. The beads are a cute touch.

I received this pencil holder in the UK print and it holds 72 pencils. The UK print is very colorful and pretty. It came with 3 pairs of beads in different patterns so you could pick which you like best and add to the strings for decoration.
I am very impressed with it in all ways. It is very well made with a durable material. All the pencil slots are uniform in size and hold the pencils securely. All the stitching is perfect. I don't see any loose ends or skipped stitches. I love handmade items because they usually are better made then a factory manufactured item.
There is a larger slot to hold larger items on each side of it. I like how there is a flap on the bottom to protect the pencil points. It rolls up nicely and is easy to tie shut. I like being able to keep my pencils in this so I can keep them all in a certain order going by their shades. When I keep them in the box they came in its harder to do that. This roll is great!
Please note: I put my pencils in this for the pictures to show you how it would look. Pencils were not included with this.
