This little battery is great. I've had various different Anker batteries in the past, but they were such an awkward shape that it was uncomfortable to carry anywhere except inside a bag. The 2X is the perfect balance between size and battery capacity. I have a 3 inch lightning cable that I connect from the 2X to my iPhone 6+. Then I put them both in my pocket while my phone charges. It feels like a slightly thicker iPhone in my pocket.
I also picked up the 1X powerstation, which is an exclusive on the Mophie site at the time of this review. I might actually like the 1X even more. It's only 2,000 mAh compared to 4,000 in the 2X, but it's so small that it actually fits inside my wallet - see the photos I've attached.
I have a NomadKey Nomadkey Lightning To Usb Cable for Apple Devices on my keys which means I'll always have a lightning cable as long as I also have my keys. The only downside is that it doesn't bend completely in my pocket like a normal 3 inch lightning cable would.
The wallet in the photo is the Maxpedition Gear Micro. Maxpedition Gear Micro Wallet, Foliage Green
