Overall, I think this is a really good feeder. We had another one that performed horribly after about a year (food got stuck all the time, it only ran on 4 huge batteries, took a PhD to figure out how to program the feeding times, etc), so we decided to bite the bullet and invest in a more expensive model. So far, I'm happy, and I think the few changes I would recommend are fairly minor.

Pros:
- Programmable via iPhone app. It walks you through the WiFi connection and setup process pretty easily. Very easy to schedule multiple feedings per day.
- It's much quieter than the last automatic feeder we had
- It plugs right into the wall (no batteries required)
- It looks nice, clean and modern
- Above all, it teaches our dog that "the machine" feeds her, so she doesn't beg us (humans) for food when she's hungry (which is always- she's a lab).
- It has a camera and mic, so you can keep tabs on your dog if you're out of the house
- It notifies you when a feeding was complete

Cons:
- The biggest issue, IMO, is around the feeding units. In the feeding scheduler in the app, you have an option to schedule up to 4 feedings per day, with a set measurement of food per feeding. Right now, the only measurement available to the English-reading community are 1-3 "Cups" of food per feeding. I put "cups" in quotes because it most definitely isn't equal to 1 Cup (8oz) in the US. I think this is where some of the translation is off a bit. I *think* (based on some very hasty testing, while my dog was drooling at my feet), that 1 "cup" = about 30 grams of food... which is equivalent to roughly 1/4 cups of food when I measure it out.Read more ›

I have had two of these feeders for a few months now. I really like the scheduled feedings. It is very helpful when I can't always get home on time or when I don't want to be woken up at 5am by hungry, howling kitties.

The only thing that I wish was different is the tray at the bottom. My cats have recently started putting their paws under the tray and wiggling it up and down until it bumps against something inside the machine and some kibbles roll out. They try to do this all day. Some kibbles will also roll out if they bump into it hard enough. This isn't very helpful when trying to get them to lose some weight. I'm going to try to put a wedge under the tray at the bottom so they can't wiggle it anymore. But it would be pretty nice if the tray could just close within the machine or something so that they can't get to the food at all through physical manipulation.

I have also considered mounting these high on the wall somehow so the food drops down to the ground and the cats can't reach the feeders at all.

I bought it for my cat. Umm...The feeder is great so far!
It's really amaming, you can download their app for free from Apple App Store, also they have apk to download.
And the app works on both my android and apple phones.
As a feeder, i can set my schedule for daily feeding, and the app can calculate how much it would feed. It's important for a kitten to learn how much he should eat. Or he would be fat....
I love its video&audio streaming function!
I have classes on workdays, but no distance with my cat! What i need to do is opening my feeder app, then i can see what my cat doing...SOOOOOOO AMAZING!!!
No lag video even in carrier network.
And i can even feed him by pushing a button, also i can use microphone to 'talk' with him just like a phone call!
Look! How happy he is ;)
