High five!

These are great! I wanted silicon gloves for a while and I'm glad I made this purchase.

To watch me use them in action, check out my video. I used them to remove my Lodge L8DD3 Double Dutch Oven and Casserole with Skillet Cover, 5-Quart out of a 425 degree oven and they worked beautifully.

SAFETY FIRST! Please keep in mind these are not meant to be used to hold hot items for long periods of time (not sure why you would want to, but in case you were wondering…).

They are perfect for removing/placing things out of, or into, the oven. They are nice and heavy, not cheap, and not thin or flimsy feeling. They are nice silicon inside and out and fit my hands nicely

My first reaction was WOW these gloves are very thick and well made oven mitts. I was excited to try them out. I turned on my oven to 425 degrees and put a large iron skillet in the oven to heat up. While the oven was preheating I tried the gloves on. They are nice silicon inside and out and fit my hands nicely. Once the oven was preheated to 425 I let the iron skill heat up nice and hot. Time to test out the gloves I grabbed the iron skillet by the handle and pulled it out and held it for a few seconds. At first I could not feel any heat at all through the gloves. After about 20 to 30 seconds of holding the hot iron skillet I could feel the heat on my hand and it quickly started to get uncomfortable. I was a little surprised how quick the gloves heated up on the inside. My conclusion is they are made to move thinks quickly around on the grill or out of the oven and not meant to hold hot things for longer periods of time. Not sure if I would ever be holding anything that hot for a longer period of time.

These also work great as pivots for those hot dishes. I used on my wood table and it protected the table from burning.

Also good at holding a jar that has a really tight lid. You can really get a good grip and twist the lid off.

I have also used these camping to move logs around in the fire pit and take hot potatoes out of the red hot coals.

Nothing is too hot for these gloves to handle!!!

One of the many things I gave thanks for this year were my new silicon oven mitts!!! My days of using cotton mitts are over!!! The oven mitts are durable and they protected my hands from anything hot while I was preparing Thanksgiving dinner!!! The quality of the silicon is amazing and the oven mitts did not weigh my hands down. They were easy to put on and easy to take off. I love how the orange color stood out in the kitchen making it easy for me to find them. The oven mitts are textured with little hearts all over which prevented anything from slipping out of your hands. The hearts are definitely a nice touch…especially since I cook with love!! I was amazed that the gloves did not stain!!! Also, cleaning the oven mitts was a breeze!! I put them in the dishwasher along with everything else and they came out just fine. Overall, these oven mitts are good quality and would definitely come in handy in any kitchen! I received this product at a discounted price for an unbiased and honest review in regard to my personal experience with the product. BBQ, and Oven High Quility Gloves

Start by stating these are not the thin cheap dollar store bbq oven gloves..
Far from it. Waited till Thanksgiving to give it a good work out. Really nice heavy Silicon Oven Mitts. They are FDA approved. I was able to handle cookie sheets, pie pans, and the 15 pound bird so easily. No slipping or burnt hands, but more important they are long and protect your wrist. Unlike the generic ones. No rushing needed. Also had the grill fired up for snacks and used them to flip the wings, so much easier then tongs. Even nicer .....
When your done just put them in the dishwasher. They also have holes pre-made in heavy tabs if you, chose to hook and hang them.
They are backed by a one year warranty
Nice to see a green company that uses 100% re-cycled material.
My dad liked them so much he's asking Santa for a pair..

A must have in any kitchen

I bake a lot and usually use regular oven mitts made with fabric. So when I received these I have to admit I was very very skeptical that I was gonna burn myself or that the silicon was going to melt to my hands or something extreme. I put some faith in these anti slip oven mitts and opened my oven to retrieve my pan containing dinner. My oven was set to 425 degrees. I was able to easily grab the heavy 15 pound turkey that was prepared. I was worried I was gonna fumble with the pain because of the silicon but they gripped well. I was surprised. I really like how these have a hole in the corner of them so I can hang them up like I would any other oven mitt. I would recommend these.
