This bundle is seriously awesome! The whole "kit" only weighs 3.5 ounces, and each of the aluminum tensioners weigh only a tenth of an ounce...so you ultralighters will be just fine!

The cord is 4-strand, and is plenty stiff/strong to use as guylines for your tent or tarp. I love the visibility of it...it's very bright for daytime use and has reflective strands for ease of use during the night when you're carrying a flashlight or headlamp around camp. I'm not 100% sure of the strength of the tensioners because it honestly looks like they're made for standard 550 cord...the holes are quite a bit larger than the included cordage. So, given the right conditions, they may come lose...but I'm not sure, so I can't speak with any authority. So, based on my "kitchen test", I think that it'll hold up just fine.

I did receive a sample for my honest, objective review.

Really nice line and Adjusters. Using this kit to make guylines for my kayaks while on the roof. Will attach carabiners so I can clip to the hood loop on my Jeep, and clip to the Kayak handle, then adjust tension for a road trip!

The rope is very nicely made, with double strands of reflective tape woven in. I didn't get a measurement of the width (it is small), and there is no load rating, but I took 8" of it and swung all 190lbs of me around from a rafter hook. The color is very bright and sharp, and has a nice pop against the background. Yet to test reflectivity - Will find out in a day on my camping trip.

Aluminum guyline adjusters are machined well, and have a nice protective coating. Coating is a little slick, but line holds well when pulled taught. Will see how it holds up to 65mph interstates when I leave out.

Overall, a very nice kit. I gave it 5 stars because for it's intended use (tent guy lines) it would be amazing. I cannot knock any points off because I am going off label with it's usage.

A very handy item to have in your outdoor bag or kit. It is a fundamental item to have anytime you are out in the wilderness and need to throw up a quick shelter. I keep this set along with others in my GO bag so it will be there if I need it. These tensioners and line will make easy work of battening down a tent or a quick tarp for cover when needed. They are light weight and easy to store. I recieved this item at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. All good survalists know not to leave home with out some line to secure their shelter. I appreciate that the line is also very reflective in the middle of a dark night. The tensioners are easy to install on the line and are very effective.

These tensioners fit the bill. I'm not a big camper, but I do string up sun shades and tarps. The tensioners are very lightweight and strong. The rope or cord is a wrapped 4 cord type and is very easy to store and also lightweight. As a matter of fact it would be a good idea throw this package in each vehicle you own just as part of an emergency kit. Can't hurt. To keep from tripping over and getting tangled in rope at night the rope is also fluorescent. It is also reflective. I received a discount on this product for my time to give an honest unbiased review. This would make an excellent gift or stocking stuffer.

Super strong cord and overall a very lightweight product around 3 ounces or so. It wont take up much room in your outdoor gear bag, but is very handly to have along. This is not only a good product for the tent but also for tying down tarps and the cord can be used for other things needed out in the wilderness. It comes with 10 aluminum adjusters and a 50 ft length of cord. I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion. Nice product and nicely packaged.

I bought these for a friend who loves to go camping. She said she needed new guylines because the ones she had were worn out. This guyline kit is a great replacement for the existing ones I have with my tent. I have tripped over guylines more times then I would really like to admit to because my eyesight is terrible at night. Ugh! Thank god for the highly reflective strip on this rope.
