Got this as an upgrade for the leash that came with my board and I'm stoked! It's super comfy and very flexible. Weird, but my last leash kept getting tangled on my toe when I stood up and that's not the case with this one. With the waves about to start picking up around here, I'll be thankful that I paid a few extra bucks for a super sturdy leash like this one.

I usually stick with DaKine leashes but have a great GoPro mouth mount from Ho Stevie so I thought I'd give it a try. I am incredibly impressed with this construction of this leash. The cuff is thin, made from high quality nylon, and the pull tab has reinforced stitching. The leash itself has an additional high-strength cord running through the center and the pivots seem to be well built and flexible. What I am most impressed with is the rail saver (The part that attaches to the string on your board) The rubber logo on another leash dinged the tail of my board on a trip to Indonesia this summer. This one has no branding stitched through it and is 1/4" wider than my favorite leash so it should protect it even better. I have yet to use it in sizable surf so I can't comment on stretch or how will hold up to a pounding, but I am extremely impressed with the design and construction. I would highly recommend this leash.

Update:I have now surfed this leash for over two months, most recently in overhead surf. It's great. Hasn't stretched significantly. It's up there with my DaKine Irons leash as my favorite but that one was $40. I would buy another one in a heart beat.

It is a surf leash however the ankle strap is thinner yet longer then your 'typical' leash. It feels like you are really wrapping something secure around your ankle. I've only surfed with it a few times since receiving it and it is a bit kinked because of how it was made and packaged. I hope the kinks go away over time so I don't get hog-tied while paddling for waves. But so far so good. I'd buy another when I need one.

I got this in record time, Living in Alaska it usually takes at least a month to get things to shipped to me. This took just about a week! I just tried it out this weekend with my father and fiance for some wake surfing. It works great. The leash held up beautifully and looks like it will for a while to come. Over all wonderful, I only gave it 4 stars because I don't like the straight cord as much as a curled, but that might be my fault for ordering a straight cord.

This is a great leash. What more needs to be said? As an avid surfer, I try different leashes for different boards. This should be at the top of everyone's list. The fit is comfortable, it feels like it will last, and you really can't beat the company that it comes from. 10/10 for sure. I will defiantly buy more for my other boards.

As soon as I put the leash on my board I knew it was going to be able to withstand some of the most intense surf conditions. Everything looks like it was purposely designed and built to give the user complete Trust over never have to swim ashore. Even though the leash is black, it has a dark gray-ish clear tone to it which looks cool. The Velcro strap is longer than other brands, which means its gonna stay on when the Velcro starts to age since there's more contact area. Also, there is a cool pocket to store your car key in the leash strap, but I haven't tried it out while surfing yet...not sure if it'd feel comfortable, but at least its an option.
Would be nice to see them come out with some different colors.
Update: February 2016: Bought the colored leashes, and they are exactly as durable as the black one. Couldn't be happier, and for the price, its a deal.

This leash seems to be the quality of any good average leash. But I've been using this leash for a couple months, now, and the problem I have is It has a tendency to wrap around my legs when I'm surfing normally, and once got caught around my foot when I stood up. This is a consistent problem that I don't usually have with my old leash (SurfRide brand). I'm not quite sure why this is the case, but I think I'll stick with the old stuff I've been using for now...

I bought this leash at a really good discounted price to try it out and give a review
