This lighted pet collar is really neat. I thought it would be great for when I take my lab for a walk after dark or when we are camping since she is dark brown it would be safer for her to have a light.
My children have a different idea. The love this and have fought over who is going to wear this new lighted necklace. So my poor lab may not get to have this great accessory after all.
This collar has 3 light settings- slow, quick and steady. You just push the button to change between the 3 or to turn off.
You can trim to fit, so will fit any dog (or child).
It is waterproof so safe to wear on rainy days.
Can be recharged, charger is included. Lasts between 50 to 100 hours depending on which light setting you use.

We have a beagle who loves to go with us wherever we go...hiking, camping, biking, you name it! There are times that I've wished he had some sort of safety collar on at night time so that others could clearly see him and so that we knew exactly where he is should he try to wander off. This safety collar solves that issue. We can now clearly see where our dog is in the dark. The collar has two different modes, a straight light (in the color of your choice of collar) and flashing. I find that the flashing is good for when we take him for walks at night (or bike rides when it gets to be warmer out) and we want him to be visible to passing cars. It was very easy to adjust to the size of his neck, though like other reviewers have stated, make sure that you have the correct size before cutting. There is no turning back once you cut. A little bigger is better because this is just something that is going to be worn to make your dog visible, not as a lead collar. I like that it comes with a USB charger so you don't have to worry about having to buy batteries ever.
Having 3 boys, they also found it to be fun so it's just not for dogs! My first thought when I saw this light up at night was that I wish these would have been around when my boys were very little and trick-or-treating ages! This would have been so much better than glowstick necklaces and we could have used them year after year. They could have used them for camp, 4th of July and all the other fun summer outdoor events.

I have had multiple light up dog collars since getting our now 12 month old golden retriever. He likes to go for a run at night before heading to bed. I don't mind letting him because we have about an acre of fenced in back yard. However, it does have several bushes and trees that he gets hidden behind in the dark. I have been using the light up collars so I can keep track of him when he's in the back yard. 2 of the collars he has grown out of, 1 broke where it connected together with a clip type closing system and 1 just stopped working. All of them except 1 has been battery operated. I don't mind that, however, the last one I got was a re-chargeable which I found I like much better. However, the biggest issue I find is that he needs one of those belt buckle type collars because he does pull when on a leash. I saw the Aodoor Dog Collar and thought that maybe the solution was to get him a light-up collar that just goes over his regular collar for when he goes out at night only. This collar came in a plastic zip type bag which is nice to keep for when he won't be wearing it. The collar is a very long tube with plenty of room for small to large size dogs and lights that run along the inside To adjust it, it is a matter of cutting it to size. I have to say it really doesn't come with very good instructions on how to size or operate it. I decided to try it out before putting it on my dog. I found what was supposed to be the on/off button. When I pressed the button it did light up the lights and by pressing it, it changed from solid, to slow blink, to fast blink. However, after it switched to steady again, that was all it would do. No matter how many times I tried to turn it off it would not turn off, or even switch back to blinking for that matter.Read more ›

This is one of those things that you never really thought you needed until you use it. I absolutely love this product! It is adjustable - you cut it to fit your dog - and it is rechargeable! It seems kind of ridiculous when you put it on at first - like your dog is about to go to a nightclub - but it is so helpful for any outdoor night activity. We live in a wooded area and sometimes our chocolate lab doesn't come right away when he is called. Sometimes it is really hard to see him, but with this collar he is SUPER easy to find. The lights are bright, but not blinding. I love love LOVE that this is rechargeable. Not having to buy batteries makes this product even better! I received this product at a discounted rate in return for an honest and unbiased review.
