I own a Jeep and it is always hard to find anything that will cover the whole windshield. When I saw how big the Thunder Snow Off Windshield was I knew it would fit my window, and it does! I have a carport that my Jeep stays in during the night, but when I go to work or shopping my windshield is open to the weather. I do not like scraping ice and don't like using deicer unless there is no choice, so this shield is saving me a lot of stress and work.
The windshield cover works great when there is gust of wind and stays on my Jeep. To use the cover, take it out of the included storage bag and unroll it. Depending on the size of your vehicle and the wind, you can either tuck the side flaps into your door frame first or you can start with the windshield wipers. I start with the windshield wipers first unless it is extremely windy. Place the colorful side of the cover up and the shiny silver side facing your vehicle. Make sure the flaps are at the top of your car and place the cover on top of your windshield and place your wipers on top to keep it in place, making sure it is centered. I open the passenger door and fold the cover inside and gently pull the door shut holding the cover while I am inside. Then I do the drivers door while I am outside, by folding the cover in and quickly shutting the door holding the cover at the top of my roof so it stays in place with my fingers out of the way. If it is really windy, I open the back passenger doors and hold the flaps inside while I shut the drivers and front passenger doors to keep it tight...of coarse this is easier if you have help.
When you remove the cover, shake off as much ice and snow as you can and fold it in half. Now roll it up and slide the elastic band around it and slide it in the caring case.Read more ›

Love this snow cover, very well designed.
It is so easy to install this snow cover. Just open your doors and fold the exterior parts inside. Shut the doors and move your windshield wipers on the cover.
It will stay all night or how long you need it to stay. Snow will be easily removed when you need to go without waiting 20 minutes to melt ans wasting your gas.
Vehicle Windshield Protector is constructed out of high quality aluminum foil. The straps are nice but they wouldn't fit my Honda, far away. May be can be useful for different cars. I really don't need them.
I received this product for free to evaluate, recommend for any car, not sure about trucks.
