I like that this product is not bulky and when wrapped tight provides some structural support for my back as well. I have not been able to get it to work with a fully charged portable power bank charger that has the correct specifications: Output - USB 5V=1A. I've tried two different models and neither work. It does work when connected to my laptop's USB port, but I'd prefer not to be tethered to my computer.

Has anyone else experience this?

I have a desk job and I don't get to move around as much as I would like during the day. Unfortunately, this means I get some muscle soreness and stiffness. A little warmth applied directly to the sore muscles can be a big help! So I was happy to try this out.

Pros:

*Velcro-style closure keeps it in one place
*Portable -- use a power bank if you don't want to be tied to a wall
*Good for travel -- no power adapters/converters needed
*Mild (dry) heat; did not get too warm over an extended period
*Was also able to use it on my neck
*Mesh attachment can be used for an ice pack

Cons:

*May not fit people who are larger around the middle (I am a size 8 in women's pants and there was plenty of room for me, but there will be an upper size limit)
*If your pain is super, super low (practically in the gluteal area), you will have trouble keeping this all the way down if it is also fastened in place
*A slight smell on first use (not strong or irritating and it doesn't last forever)

Ideally, this would have the option to adjust the heat level and/or support moist heat. Because there is a place for an ice pack (which implies some level of moisture or condensation) and because this is washable, you could probably put a damp cloth in the ice pack holder if you wanted moist heat instead. If you decide to do this, however, check the item carefully before each use to make sure there are no exposed wires, and do not get the electrical connection to the USB cord wet while the device is in use.

Overall, I thought this was quite useful and I especially liked the portability.

Overall this heating pad was great. It was comfortable to wear and heated up quickly. I haven't ever seen a portable heating pad before and it was genuinely an awesome idea. I never thought about the fact of being tied to a wall before. With this heating pad I was able to still move around the house while wearing it instead of leaving the heating pad behind. I haven't tried it with an ice pack yet, but there is a pouch that would hold pretty much any size ice pack.

The only thing that could make this better is a way to adjust the heat level. Also providing a slightly longer cord would be beneficial but it's plenty long to reach to my front pocket to hold a power bank charger.

I hate cold and wet days. My back always hurt in these days. I bought this for those annoy days. I have to sit almost the whole day before computer. All my works need be done on that. it is very convenient for me to charge it by the computer USB port. It needs some time to getting heat and I could feel that even I wear it with cloth underneath. And because of the warmth it provides, the pain in my back could be relieved. What's more, it keeps my back straight, a way for posture corrector, I found.

Works perfectly with heating therapy to my pain area.Comforatble fitting, actually it is a little long for me, but not uncomfortable. With smooth velcro straps to keep in place. If you do not need the heating, could aslo use it as an usual waist trimmer.
