We have a small home gym set-up in the garage...nothing fancy but sufficient to allow a decent workout while at home. Included in the bench set was a small cage for safety which is used all the time yet now and then, due to space constraints, we both wish there was another way to safely lift/release but without taking up more precious space. Enter these - this simple pair of solid steel supports come well packaged and easy to assemble. These are full two inch steel with solid welds throughout - nothing not to like. Assembly is simple and straightforward - there are four cross brackets to be added to the bottoms and then the other sliding inserts. Hardware is included - decent quality hardware that is already half put together. Assembly takes less than 20 minutes. These are sturdy when put together - adjustable settings are double reinforced with both a standard clip and clasp bracket. Now, keep in mind, these are not stationary so can/will need some common sense when using - on the other hand, these are perfect for stand alone support - great to be able to carry around the garage and store away with ease yet pull out when working out. Solid made. The only small complaint is that one of the fittings broke at the very first use - I wish the fittings were a bit better made in keeping with the stands themselves. Otherwise, really a bargain! Coupon code resulted in low/no price purchase for evaluation.

One of my sons is really into fitness and weight lifting. While he enjoys going to the gym, unfortunately our local gym is not open 24 hours a day. With him going to college full time and having 3 jobs on top of that, he keeps a weird schedule. As such, he has slowly begun to build somewhat of a home gym.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS RACK
1: Incredibly easy to assemble
2: Sturdy!
3: Fully adjustable to fit his height
4: Affordable
5: Portable
6: Does not take up a lot of space
As my son does not always work out in the same place it is great that this rack is not stationary. He can easily move it to the garage when the weather is appropriate or in the basement when he prefers A/C.
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
Yes! It is perfect for home use as it is sturdy and durable. If you are concerned about stability you can easily add some heavy plates to the bottom for added piece of mind.
My son now can work out right in the convenience of our own home at a time that works best for him. Way more affordable than a gym with the added convenience of working out wherever and whenever he wants. I did purchase this rack at a discount for my review. We have used it now for some time and both of us love the quality and convenience of this product. Great rack!
