I'm sort of a brush snob, not that I'm very good at painting, but I sure love how a nice brush sits in my hand and how it holds and allows paint to flow evenly. I wasn't expecting much from these inexpensive brushes, but figured they'd be good for occasional rough jobs where I didn't want to hurt my good brushes.

I was very surprised at how well these worked with acrylic paints. They keep their shape well, load nicely, and have leave a consistent line. The brushes come is sizes from 1 to 12 - although the 1 through 3 are not sized very accurately (my #2 brush is thicker than the #3). Even after washing and drying, these are holding their shape. All the ferrules are solid (no wiggly ends), and they each come with a plastic end cap.

They even worked well with watercolors, although I usually like a brush with a fatter start and a quick taper, I was surprised at how nicely these worked and how easy they were to control.

The handles are really the only thing that feels cheap, they are very lightweight with a somewhat rough finish. They aren't awful, but they don't bring a smile to my face like my lovely da Vinci brushes do. Still, it does make me smile to think that something this cheap can still produce quite acceptable results.

These would be a great option for a beginning art student or someone who does occasional decorative painting with acrylics.

These paintbrushes are really nice. This set comes with 12 brushes in all different thicknesses. I like how the brushes are thin at the tip. This will allow the painter to hold a lot of paint and add some fine details where needed.

The bristles are soft. They feel good to the touch and gldie over the canvas when used.

The one issue I had was with the end of the brush. Some of the tips on the handles are a little rough. Not enough to scratch you, but enough that you notice it.

Overall these brushes are nice. So far the hair has not come off and the tips are a pleasure to work with. Looks like a paintbursh I will be using again.

As a crafty person, I've been known to dabble in multiple mediums, most recently paint work. The Ishua Nylon Hair Pointed Tipped Brushes worked fantastically on my latest woodwork painting craft. The brushes hold paint well, and the transfer from brush to wood was very good. I didn't have issues with hairs randomly poking out (and thus ruining line work), and the brushes washed very well in soapy water. In this set, I received brush sizes 1-12 - this is more than sufficient if you're just starting out. If you're planning on dabbling in watercolors, I would suggest a more diversified brush set that includes brushes such as the fan brush, deerfoot, one stroke, chisel, etc. The pointed head set is great if you're working in acrylic paints.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this set of brushes. I was able to use the brushes while painting a wooden sled from my local craft store with very good results. These are worth trying out if you're looking for a set of budget brushes.

Comes in very generic packaging, but the quality is pretty good the tips are a bit smaller than they look in the picture but they are perfect for my use as I require brushes that give me a small fine and precise line and basically this is what these brushes give me for when I am coloring in my custom figurines. The color on the paint itself is OK, it seems to come off if you scratch it and it exposes the wood, it would have been nice if the paint didn't come off as easily.

Most importantly, the bristles are very strong and they didn't come loose at all when I was painting, I didn't see any of the fibers on my figurines or on my paper when I was testing it out, so far they have held up after a few uses, hopefully they will last.

The brushes clean up with no problem, just rinse it and it is clean and able to be reused without any fraying.

All in all, great brushes.

I did get these for review, but I can assure you my review is honest and unbiased.

A well made paint brush, great for detailed work. I ordered this brushes to use when applying flux while soldering. I do very detailed work and like using brushes with fine points when I am working.

I have been really happy with these brushes and like very much that they don't shed. When brushes shed, the hairs get in my flux and I end up adding hair to my metal which is a huge pain. I also like the variety and different sizes.

I would totally recommend these to anyone looking for brushes for detailed work. I found these to be a good set of brushes at a great price!
