Shipped on time with no damage. The plastic anchors were a little flimsy and we had to use ones that we had as spares but this wasn't a big issue to us. Installed this back in May with no problems. Looks nice and gets that huge knife block off the counter.

This is one of the better magnetic bars, at a decent price. Nice look and fine magnets. My only problem with this (and most other knife bars to be honest) is that the bar is not very thick overall. As a result, knife handles are too close to the wall when stored. I mounted this bar on a piece of wood to bring the bar out from the wall an additional 3/4" to provide enough clearance to easily grab knife handles without scraping my fingers on the wall. You could easily use 1/2 inch PVC spacers or any material of your choosing to move the bar out from the wall when mounting it. Very pleased with this and will be giving some as gifts.

Before I ordered it, I was kind of hesitate, I wondered whether the magnet was powerful enough, because I couldn't tell just according to the picture. While the truth is my thought is totally wrong. When I got the knife bar, I didn't stall it on the wall of kitchen but tested it with the knife. It was amazing, the magnet of the bar was powerful...I even can't separate it without much force. It is so nice, it saves much space for mu kitchen and makes my kitchen look tidier than before. I love this one.

I have always been intrigued my magnetic knife bars - they look so great in magazines and blogs but I've never been quite sure whether I would enjoy one during every day use. When I was offered a sample of this item by the manufacturer I decided to give it a try - this review is my honest opinion.

If you're like me the first thing you're going to do (before semi-permanently affixing this to the wall) is parade it around the house looking for suitable magnetic targets. You've gotta know that things will say put, right? Well a few knives (including a large chef's knife), some kitchen gadgets, a few screwdrivers, a pair of pliers and a metal sugar canister later, and I was convinced that the magnets were going to be strong enough. Mounting was simple, and with the two provided screws and drywall anchors (and my trusty spirit level) I had it on the wall in not time.

It is reasonable well constructed, with moulded plastic surrounding the dual magnetic strips. Overall I think it's not a bad price, although I must admit that I haven't done TOO much price comparison for similar items. Still, it works and I have no problem recommending it!

This replaced my current Chicago Cutlery magnetic bar. I have mine for about five years already but I find it too short to accommodate all the knives that we are using. The 22 inch Ouddy is much longer. It is as strong as my old one, it can easily hold my cleaver and my heavy duty scissors.

The magnetic bar is a more sanitary than a wooden block. It is impossible to clean the inside the slits of a wooden block where molds and germs can grow specially if you are putting your knives wet after washing them. The magnetic bar, you just wipe it off to clean it.

My old Chicago Cutlery is more heavy duty, it is made of straight aluminum bar with two rows of magnets. I had some trouble how to remove it because I forgot how I installed it and no screws are exposed. The Ouddy is ten times easier to install with the included screws (2). It also includes a pair of gypsum board anchors. It is made of flexible material with two rows of magnets.

This is a great organization aid. This 22" long bar has two strips of strong magnets, both strips extend the entire length of the strip and strong to hold knives and other mental tools. I am using it to hold my collection of scissors. The bar keeps them out of the way yet they are easily accessible. Very convenient!

The bar comes with mounting hardware which includes mounting screws and hollow wall anchors. The two mounting holes are 14" apart. The width of the bar is 2".

This magnetic bar is provided by Ouddy.

Such a great price! These things are more than 2-3x the cost for similar quality at other stores or even here on amazon. Obviously you would want wood, but im completely content with this. You can tell that if you are not careful with bending the magnetic strip could pop out if you try to bend it to much. I decided to hack some command strips on the back of this to prevent any holes in my wall and utilize this open space on my fridge in the pic! Now i can grab my knives and not have to fiddle in the drawer looking for the one i need.
(WARNING! Be sure to follow the directions for command strips, I used a household cleaner that must have been too oily and my knives fell at first, but now they are working great that i used isopropyl alcohol)
