This balm is heavy off white cream that comes in a pump. It smells mildly of mint and has very little lather. It doesn't strip your hair or make your scalp squeaky clean. For me and my dry naturally curly hair, this is a good thing. Feels cool on the scalp, washes away pretty well. It shampoos and conditions in one, I find it similar to Jack Black Double Header shampoo. It does work as a detangler, I was surprised at this. It does leave your hair feeling coated, good for curls and helps with frizz but might be too heavy for thin straight hair. I still want my regular shampoo at least once a week but defiantly see myself continuing with this product, especially through the harsh winter months. I like it.

This is the single greatest hair product I have ever used. The "6-in-1" is no gimmick. I have not had to put any post-shower product in my hair since I started using it. My hair is behaving as it never has: soft, fluffy curls with a miraculous lack of frizz or weigh-down. The smell is a dream as well. "Coconut Mint." Who would've thought? The scent stays in your hair all day, and yet has not upset my allergies whatsoever. 10/10. Will buy again for ∞.

They call it hair balm, it is more like a conditioner but you do not have to shampoo hair prior to using it. There is no lather.

It feels nice to the hair, slightly cool, like it has menthol. Contents are not listed anywhere on the bottle except for the statement indicating what is not there- sulfate, dye, silicone and harsh salts. It is supposed to be made of only plant materials.

The claims that it softens and detangles hair are true but it does not really add shine. Hair do feel very nice to touch - soft and smooth - after using this balm. But they also get fluffy and slightly frizzy, and that I found is the major downside to this balm.

As of now, the price is not listed, but I like this product.

I got this product for free as part of a promotion to test and review the product. All opinions are mine alone.

I like the concept of this product, and if I could, I'd give it 3.5 stars because its decent for thicker and curly hair in that it tames the frizz and eliminates the need for additional styling products. However, I took off a star and a half because it left the top of my hair/head feeling greasy. I usually try to wash my hair every 2/2.5 days but this left me feeling like I needed to wash it earlier. I don't have naturally dry or oily hair, I'm right in the middle and my hair becomes naturally oily after 2.5/3 days. I felt like I needed to rewash my hair the next morning after I used this product the night before. Maybe I should have let my hair airdry a little better but I probably won't re-purchase this product anytime soon.

I'm normally skeptical about trying new products because there's some products I've used in the past that make my hair feel rough or stringy after rinsing. This product recommends 6-8 pumps but since my hair is so thick and intensely wavy, 10 worked best for me. No lather, but the product distributes pretty smoothly throughout. I noticed the biggest difference after I let my hair dry in a towel for 20 minutes and took it out -- it was so soft! Now as it's drying it's both super soft and fluffy, and doesn't feel weighed down at all. So far so good!

I LOVE this product. I have very kinky curls, but my hair is super thin. Most curl-catered products leave my hair crunchy or greasy, but this product was gentle, light, and left my curls soft, bouncy, and looking great! I didn't even need to use a styling product afterwards. I would recommend this product to anybody with curly hair who hasn't had the best of luck with hair care products in the past!

Love love love it! I already love their hair care line and I use their ever crime sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. But this stuff tops it. It smells exactly like a mint coconut. And it makes my hair feel amazing. I put a generous amount in my hair and massage it through while I'm letting it sit I brush through my hair and it looks and feels absolutely amazing! I will definitely be buying more!

OMG!!! Just got this and I am in LOVE with it ' It smells great and it works amazingly well on mine and my sons hair. I love that it's a 6 in 1 that does everything is says it will. My hair and curls feel so soft and tangle free-- a big plus for when I do my sons tightly curly hair. And it shines and just feels silky and moisturized, which I really LOVE.
