First: I am a newby regarding Bluetooth. I purchased this headset and one of a different type to see what I would like. As it turns out, I love both of them for different reasons. This headset pairs easily with whatever device I use. I have 4 Bluetooth devices. This will pair with 2 at the same time & switches easily between them. I have 2 Android phones, my Kindle Fire & my tv which pair easily. (You cannot pair all 4 at the same time, though. Just remember to turn off Bluetooth on the devices you are not currently using. You may also need to re-pair a device.) Just follow the enclosed instructions & there should be no problem. Raising & lowering the volume is easy. I have no problems with these staying in place. I can raise & lower my head, quickly, with no problems. Vigorous activity is no problem. This headset is reasonably comfortable. I would rate the sound as very good – not great. I believe the sound quality varies according to what is being listened to. I have some mp3 files that sound very good; some not so. My phone conversations can sometimes sound somewhat tinny but are clearly understandable. I believe the stated range is 30 feet & I have had no problems with the reception. I play an Audible book on my Kindle upstairs and go downstairs with no reception issues and have clear sound through this headset. Overall, I enjoy this headset and would purchase it again.

I got these for my long cycling rides! Rode 29.5 miles this morning, they worked great, very comfortable and no cord hastle to deal with! I was concerned about the loops over my ears, have a cauliflower ear from high school wrestling, but no discomfort and great sound!

The QY11s are an upgrade to the QY8s that I bought and reviewed last year. The QY8 needed to change for these headphones to compete with the QY7s: More support to keep them from bouncing. Now it’s 2016 and these are the QY11s. They have ear hooks – Like the Apple’s Powerbeats wireless headphones but with better sound quality and battery life.
The QY8s did not control the volume on your phone. So, if you turn up your volume on your headset… you’ll get very little response if your phone volume is low. On the other hand… if your volume is all the way up it would blow your ear drums out. The QY11s are the same. Here’s a tip: If you want more bass, turn your cell phone volume all the way up. Then turn the headphones down a little before playing. That’ll give you the best range. In many cases I like this option.
The QY8s have amazing bass. For some reason, I feel like it’s only gotten better over the past year of listening. The Qy11s have a much fuller sound. The bass is still there.. But you don’t just get bass and highs… The vocals are clear along with the the mids. It’s a great improvement over the last earphones.
The 2016 version is built for sport, It looks like their engineers went back to the drawing board coming out with these. It is a brand new design. With a hook that goes around the back of your ear.
A few changes from the old headphones. The controls are no longer on the earpiece. They are on the wire. I think that helps keep the weight down on the ears and prevents bouncing. I've tested out almost every version of the QCY headphones, and have been really impressed with year new model. These QCY QY11 headphones, that I was provided for free to test and review, are by far the best QCY headphones yet. They were super simple to pair, are really comfortable, and sound great. The battery life is unbelievable (I use them all day (gym, walks, and at my desk), and charge them at night without an issue), and they are extremely lightweight. I have no complaints and highly recommend these. I use them with my Nexus 6P, but know from past experience with other QCY bluetooth headphones that they will also work great with Apple phones.

there are thousands of different headphone sets out there that you can choose from but here is why I think this QY11 Bluetooth set is a very good contender in the race for your money.

PRO:
Over the ear design makes this a great exercise headphone set. Never worry about your ear pieces falling out ever again!
Crystal Clear sound, Music does not sound echoey or distant. Bass is punchy but not overpowering.
Good sound isolation. Earbuds make good contact and form a good noise isolating seal which in turn helps with the bass as well.
Tightness adjusting bead on the neck band helps to control unruly slack in the wire.
Pairs with your devices bluetooth in literally seconds!
CONS:
The only thing I would change is to put the button controls on the earpieces themselves. But, with this being an over the ear design, The little extra weight on the wire caused by the control button will not pull the ear piece out of your ear like it would with many other sets.

Overall, These headphones have been working great for me and I love using them during my workouts. I am never distracted by uncomfortable ear pieces or ear pieces falling out and these headphones allow me to stay concentrated and in the zone! I did receive these headphones at a discount in exchange for my unbiased and always 100% honest review and I would absolutely recommend these headphones to anyone!
