First, these lamps did not include wiring instructions so without anything other than online pictures I drilled a hole in the firewall to connect the power. The light on the button is always on but it does not seem to draw any power or significantly drain the battery. The power plug did not fit well enough into the dash power outlet so I was required to modify the plug. Way too much wire was supplied and had to be coiled under the dash I am talking 5 feet of extra wire. Within a week of operation they fogged up, after going offroad one light filler partially with water and began to rust internally. After a month and a half one of the power plugs melted and required me to modify the existing plug in order to resume operation. These lights are bright for the price but that's it, stay away.

For the price, these foglights work well and are constructed decent enough for the urban driver. If you do a lot of off-road or gravel road or mountain pass driving, I cannot attest to the glass strength. Although, at the low price of these units, it may be worthwhile to just pick up a replacement set for backup or locate a guard that is suitable.

As for installation, as stated there were no wiring instructions, but Winjet has a general diagram here - http://winjetinc.com/pdf/winjet_foglights_wiring.pdf to use. It's basic wiring. As for the light assembly install, I used the Honda Element installation instructions found here - http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/AI/AII24288.pdf

Took me appx an hour to complete, but I am fairly experienced in this regard. For someone who has never done this kind of thing, it could be 3 hours easily.

These are garbage! I had the same experience as others where both units filled with condensation and water after only a few days.
The housing of both units have places that are missing paint and will rust unless you paint them yourself.
I've also noticed that this same light is sold under different names but you will notice that the pictures are identical.
I have a 2004 Honda Element and the original fog light s lasted for 7 years until I caught a rock in the lens of one of them.

Easy to install. It came without the installation instructions, that isn't a problem since you can look for them on internet.
The arnesses didn't match with the ones specified on the instructions. It basic electicity, i only had to figure out how to wire the switch to the fog lights.

I came with the problem that the switch is always energiced, i don't need to have the key im ACC position to turn on the lights. I would like to be able to leave the switch activated, so i could turn the fog lights on when i turn on the head lights.

Anything from that these are a good improvement for my ride. I recommend it.

DS light filled with water and became rusty not long after install. PS still looks new. If i could just get two that stayed sealed that'd be great. Also, killed my battery the other night after carelessly leaving them on. It'd be nice if a buzzer sounded like it does for the headlights. Also had to modify to fit in circuit breaker slot.
