I have had the original Silhouette machine, and I have since replaced it with the Cameo for the additional function. I learn over and over again to be delighted with my decision. The software is incredibly powerful. I can work on vinyl, cardstock, paper, fabric, you name it. And their customer service is second to none.
I use my Cameo a lot, and I have started to see some issues. The swivel cover broke at one of the tabs, and the display was dim and blinking. I called them about it, and they told me that for a $100 flat fee they would fix anything that was fixable on the machine and ship it back. I paid to ship it there, but the fee includes return shipping.
Well, they called to tell me it was done and that the fee was, in fact, “up to” $100. So they only charged me $75. And it came back with obviously new cables, in a new box, and with a new knife. The turnaround was barely a week.
I get happier and happier that it was the Silhouette I chose!

I got this bundle and the new Cameo II. There are so many videos on UTube to help you learn all the great things you can do with the die cut machine. I wanted it basically so I could weld titles for my scrapbook pages. If you are considering buying a die cut machine, this one is IT!
