I was hesitant to try this product because I figured it was to good to be true. However I was pleasantly surprised. The brush came with 2 sturdy clips for my hair along with a cleaning brush. The brush itself is solid and firm. The inner part of the brush is composed of multiple heating posts which for the "brush" part of the straightener along with non heated posts around the ouside so you don't burn yourself. Immediately I though that it was going to be to hard for my hair and end up getting stuck or breading my hair. I have normal thickness wavy hair. After reading the directions I turned it on to 200°C. It heated up very quickly. As I used it on my hair I was shocked to see how quickly it turned my curls straight. It was awesome! It didnt get stuck at all and was not to firm for my hair. I did notice that periodically my finger would bump the temperature control so I had to keep a close eye that I didn't accidentally turn it up too high. Also I wish that it had an added feature of being able to add a small curl to the bottom of my hair. But all it all I am very happy with it. You can see in my attatched pictures what my hair looked like before and after. My daughter is excited to try this product out also. I have been hesitant to let her use a straightener because it is so easy to burn yourself with them. But this is almost impossible to burn yourself with. Great product! I have always used flat irons on my hair to straighten my wavy hair. The main thing I dislike about flat irons is that you press two hot plates on your hair and pull, which tends to tear up your hair at times. I really don't like when one of my hairs get stuck in the flat iron and gets yanked out. The really great thing about the straightening brush is that you don't pull your hair between two hot plates. This straightening brush has heated thick bristles. I basically run the brush down the under side of my hair to straighten it, yet curl the bottoms under. I run the brush down the top surface of my hair and turn upwards at the end to flip the ends out a bit. The only thing that may be a set back is that I was not able to put curl into my hair. However, this is a "straightening" brush so that does not really make or break the deal for me. I also like the long cord that doesn't get kinked up. On the paddle side of the brush, you can see the LCD digital tenperature display and on the side of the brush are the power and temperature controls. All in all, this brush is a great product.

I had seen tons of reviews on YouTube using these heated brushes and they all had mixed reviews. I was pretty excited to receive this brush and immediately plugged it in as soon as I got it. It comes with a set of instructions and you can definitely tell they were translated although still very easy to understand.
The very first thing I noticed was how quickly it heated up. You can actually watch the temperature increase on the digital readout. It starts at about 70°F and you can see the numbers climb until the brush reaches the desired temperature. When the brush is off, you can't tell where the LCD screen is until it is powered on. I thought this was pretty neat. Once it is turned on, the screen on the back illuminates a pretty cool blue color.
I read in the instructions that since I have thick, long hair that I would need it much hotter than say, someone with short thin hair. I must not have gotten it hot enough the first time (I was being cautious) because I couldn't get the brush to go through my hair. The bristles are coated so it was like trying to rake a rubber band wrapped brush through your hair (OUCH!!). I immediately told my friend do not waste your money on this! However, I went back and read the instructions a little closer. That's when I realized the part about it needing to be hotter if you have thick hair. I cranked it up and it worked much better when it was hotter (410°- 446° is recommended for thick hair)
It doesn't do the same thing as a flat iron but it does get some of the waviness out. I guess I should add that I have thick, waist length wavy hair with long layers. I like the way it made my hair look but I don't think I would use it every day just because of the potential heat damage.Read more ›

If your going to comb your hair anyways after you straighten it what better than to use a hair straightener with a brush. This is a nice multi tool to add to your hair care bag.
The box comes with a brush with hard sturdy bristles. A rotating cord and at the end of the handle making using the brush at different angles or with either hand much easier. There were clips as well as a cleaning brush. The brush is easy to use.
You can easily use one hand to comb through and the heat helps to straighten the hair. The control buttons are on the side of the paddle. The buttons are on and off as well as increase or decrease. The temperature is lit up on the back of the brush. You can get your readings in either in C° or F°. You are able to lock the desired temperature with the click of the on/off switch. My only problem with that is I clicked it several times while using it. So after setting the temperature I would then hit the button that would lock it only to hit it again and unlock it. That was my only fault with this.
I like the ease of brushing my hair with the heated tool. The results are immediate and easy to get within minutes. The burn factor is definitely less with the heat contained in the bristle area. The paddle of the brush is easy to control. This is a great styling tool for hair.
