I was somewhat skeptical about this game system after reading the sparse reviews written about it. But the price was fantastic. I will say that this is a great toy for the price. 75 Atari-style games--what could be better? The music and graphics are from the 80's, and the controls are often difficult to work. But it is the easiest thing to plug in, and it even works on high definition TV's in spite of the fact I read a review that said it wouldn't work on those. My five-year-old daughter is enthralled with it. I refuse to buy her any of the "normal" game systems because they are too expensive. We haven't figured the gun attachment out too much, but with 75 games to choose from, there must be something for everyone. I love this thing so much--I never had an atari--and my friend of about the same age loves it, too. We were fighting with my daughter for the chance to play it. This is a portable system as well. All you need is 4 AA batteries and a TV set with video and audio hook-ups.

This is a great video game for any one that's just starting to play video games or anyone that wants to go back to 8-bit system of there youth. It's a great system for children with the lack of discs and cartigdes you don't have to worry about loosing anything...and with 75 games to choose from you are sure to find a game or 20 you'll love.

Where are the instructions?,

I bought two of these games for extras when my other video game was occupied. The first thing I noticed was there were no instructions. Having had previous plug n play games that gave the instructions on the screen, I tried to access it on this game. No luck! I was disappointed in the quality of the graphics (yes, it was cheap, but I've had cheap games with better graphics) and some of the games seemed pointless. I would not purchase a Dreamgear product again.
