EDIT: There is Another stage still to unlock after beating all 16 worlds. After you beat every stage with both Mario and Luigi, collect all 3 star coins in every level, and Land on the top of the flagpole in every stage(giving you a gold flag), a NEW level opens up in Special World 8 that has no number. It has a crown instead. This stage might be the hardest stage ever in a Mario game. Good luck trying to beat it if you unlock it.
I've only had this for a day and played through the whole thing. My first thoughts were 1) it starts off very easy. 2)its a lot of fun. For a Mario game, if you're not having fun its not good. This one is a lot of FUN.

Again if you loved NSMB on the DS or the Wii version then you will love this one. More platform action and I really like the coins theme. Keeps me wanting to achieve that crazy 1 million mark.
3D isn't really there but with a game like this it doesn't really matter.
Again if you like the other ones then don't expect something radically different. Just more old school platforming.

the graphics, voice acting and references with keep you enthralled for hours. this is by far the best lego video game to date. there are only minor issues to overcome (and are overshadowed by all the positives) are the flight controls, map view and changing characters when you are a big figure (its the same button, so its a dance to get the character switching menu up when you are hulk or other big figures).

I grew up playing Mario games...the Super Mario series was my favorite. There comes a time though, when those hyper action games when you were a kid are just WAY too spastic to be enjoyable anymore. For this reason, its been years since I picked up a Mario genre title...and then, I spotted Paper Mario.
After checking out some gameplay videos and reviews from people of a similar mindset as my own, it seems I had found the perfect Mario game for me- just enough excitement without being annoying while sticking to the classic story of what I have come to expect from a Mario game.
Sure enough, it turns out this Paper Mario game is right up my alley. It has just enough action to keep me entertained, and the battles are turn based and simplified so no spastic button pushing is needed. I also enjoy ... full review

I need to warn everyone that my wife and I are both old enough to have been fans of the orginal Mario... but we are still young to love the newest version in the series.
Sometimes you just have to get back to the basics - and that is exactly what happens with this newest Mario installment. Nintendo has taken the best features of the first three Super Marios (with some new features too!) and blended them into one great game.
Pros-
- All new version of an great favorite
- Interesting twists
- nice graphics for a hand held game
- Decent game length
- very fun mini games
Cons-
- Game isn't too challenging for your average gamer
- Most of the mini games are repeats

Mario Kart DS is a return to the classic style of Mario Kart play (one racer per Kart, which the GameCube's Double Dash departed from) and it plays like a classic Mario Kart game. This game features plenty of modes--from Grand Prix races to multiplayer to new mission modes--and a slew of unlockables to keep you going for hours on end.
Audience: You don't need to be a racing fan. These games are great for nearly all ages and people of all skill levels, and feature varying degrees of difficulty to cater to the needs of just about anyone.

SHORT ANSWER: This is an add-on world playset for the Disney Infinity game. You still need the base portal that comes in the base set, and the game CD itself, in order to play with this set. With that said, the Cars playset adds more to the Disney Infinity game than one might originally expect. The Cars world has more appeal to it than just racing, and a lot of the Cars movie "charm" is present in spades. The additional toybox pieces are great for helping build your own race-tracks, as well. This single playset does come with two Cars character figures so is also all you need to play either single player or local multiplayer, making it a great buy for people with multiple kids who all want to play together.
