5.0 out of 5 stars more to come?
i've owned this cd for 2 years now and have seen them live in memphis. these guys have grown and develop as a band. i look fwd to future works being available after their current tour is complete. an anonymous fiance of mine say that these guys should get a tour bus that is better than the one ezra has and really hit the road hard next fall around football season...

2.0 out of 5 stars Singer needs to be featured more
Overall the record is palatable. However, this listener only gives "Dust" a two-star rating because the lead-singer's talent is frequently drowned out in the mix. I was deeply moved by the song "Vortex"...and I hear 98 Degrees is contemplating a cover. Is the song "Chrome" about the lead singer's head? I love the symbolism. Where can I...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sound!!! Most unique guitar work I've ever heard., August 30, 1999

This is one of the greatest bands to come out in the 80's or 90's! The guitar work is amazing. Fowler has a sound unlike any I've ever heard. The only thing I am disappointed in is that they don't play more shows. They are rockin'!

Dust for life is the best band I have heard. It is like a combination of all my fav bands. I can tell that they will definatly make it to the top!! There is so much thougt in the lyrics, and the music fits perfectly. "Raging Sea" appeals to the senses. You can visualize the emotion put into it. It is awesome!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars I haven't heard anything like this before!, April 16, 1999

This is unique hard rock and roll. Very similar to the other hard rock in the market today BUT it has a fresh approach, giving it it's edge. Great mixture of electronics and heavy guitar work. Solid vocals and good drum beat. I really like this band and look forward to more in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Vocals, good hard rock!, April 14, 1999

This is not the most original music you'll ever hear, but if you like good hard-rockin' "Alice in Chains" type music, you'll love it. Watch out for this Gurley guy (no pun intended), he provides great vocals. He could be an up-and-coming new star in the rock world.

Fred and I were rocking to this all night long! This is good, hard rock. Sounds like Alice in Chains and Soundgarden.
