I'm the guy who only bought auction items on eBay... never sold anything. I've always wanted to sell an odd item here and there, but didn't. And why not? Because it seemed daunting dealing with so many factors: the eBay mechanics, the auction "look and feel", photograph constraints and tools, payment, shipping... And every once in awhile with resolve to enter into the seller's fray, I'd to once again read eBay's guidelines, references, and another self-help book. And shame on me, as it just proved to confusing... until this book, "eBay Auctions Template Starter Kit (One Off). What a breath of fresh air. Clear, concise, well organized, and html templates accompanying each of the many examples. Copy over the enclosed CD-ROM templates onto your computer hard drive, modify them to suit your general needs, then tailor them for each of your Item auction postings. This book's guides you through the mechanics and the rest. Come see at my auctions and buy neat stuff!!

I recommend this book if you want to learn to design your own personal eBay template. It is well written and there is helpful software on the CD too!

Excellent book! Just what I needed to get started on developing eBay listings using HTML. Very informative for an HTML novice, gives good examples and has many ready-made templates at the end. It also has good tips for where and how to test your code as well as reviews many of the resources available for getting other templates. Very suitable for anyone with no HTML background who wants to get started quickly. It certainly gave me a jump start.

This is a great book for the beginner but too simple for the advanced. Makes a good reference to thumb thru.
