From Chapter 3: Selling Have you every heard the expression that "one person's trash is another person's treasure"? That's what keeps eBay as popular as it is. People who are cleaning out their attics, basement and storerooms and others who have worked years at establishing collections, offer them in good faith to the highest bidder. And that's where the trash and treasure thing comes in. With millions and millions of items on eBay and hundreds of thousands of buyers, there's always a market. But how do you create an auction? What about those fancy pictures in item descriptions? What should I charge? How much does eBay charge? And why does "Gee, I'll quit my job and sell Froibles on eBay!" sound good, but requires a good deal of planning. That and more is what we'll cover in this last important section of eBay Online Auctions.).

1.0 out of 5 stars FOR THE TRUE E-BAY BEGINNER!, September 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: eBay Online Auction (Paperback)
I purchased this book because I wanted to learn some things about E-BAY that I didn't already know. I wanted to learn how I can make lots of $$$ and maybe gain some tips for making this a full time job. I did not learn a damned thing. This book is for someone who can't figure out how to list and bid. Most people can figure that out by just going to the site. There is nothing in this book that you can't find directly on the site. OH EXCEPT MAYBE.....WHERE CAN I FIND E-BAY?? DUH..If you need answers to those kinds of questions. It is just best to stay away! This book for me was a waste of $$$$ Hey, I think I'll sell it on E-bay!!!
