5.0 out of 5 stars It takes a while to learn this program.
Once you learn to use this program you will enjoy using it. Would like to use it as an attachment rather than have to put it on a CD.

I own a later edition, FlipAlbum Vista, but see no difference in the versions I have owned since version 4. The software produces very attractive computer based books of photo albums. I own a later edition, FlipAlbum Vista, but see no difference in the versions I have owned since version 4. The software produces very attractive computer based books of photo albums. The pages visually and audibly fip and make a nice appearance. The main problem is that the albums, although advertised as able to be made into DVDs, are limited to the computer. This novelty wears thin quickly. In addition, it's somewhat of a fraud that the software is advertised as being able to create DVDs that can be played on TV. Yes, DVDs are technically created but the quality is so poor that they are virtually useless. This is not a problem I alone have as the manufacturer's website is filled with complaints about this problem. It's very odd since the flipalbums viewed on the computer are so nice. But, there must be a problem with the software's ability to burn to DVD because the DVDs are totally useless as the quality is so poor. Thus, there is very limited usefulness for this software unless you want to have the family crowded around the computer screen to view the result.

This is a good product for what it does, that is, make computerized photo albums. I bit cumbersome to use, slow even at times. Not enough control over table of contents, thumbnails, and index features. Couldn't name the pages/entries without renaming the photos. Then again, my version may be a bit old, I've had it awhile and not received any notifications of upgrades.
