Our ten-year-old son ordered this mask after carefully comparing similar masks both online and in stores locally. What we received did not look like that pictured. The ears have pieces of cardboard inside them to keep them pointed, and the nose presses very tightly against the wearer's nose. The eyes are so far apart that they offer limited visibility. That combined with the tight nose makes the mask uncomfortable. Amazon instructed me to contact the seller directly with my concern that we received the wrong mask. I was to receive a response within three days. When I did not hear back from the seller, I contacted Amazon. They apologized and resolved our problem. We were very pleased with Amazon but would like to save another little Batman fan from disappointment after days of anticipation and waiting for the mail.

Sure this isn't the best Batman mask but your not going to get any better for the price. Overal the mask looks very good. Although the title says its a Dark Knight mask this one seems to be modeled after the cowl in Batman Forever. This is evident from the pictures. I didn't mind as I was looking for an older style cowl anyways. The nose was a little bit tight on my 11 year old brother. Other then that it fit well. Unfortunately there is no closure in the back. I ended up rigging something up with velcro and cardboard for the back. One of the ears was a bit out of shape. It looked fine after stuffing a sock in it though. My 11 year old brother is on the small side, I'd say this mask is ideal for someone about 8 years old. Overall its a good mask for the price and should hold up and look great for your kid to play with.
