These batteries are like getting a Carvette for the Price of a Malibu.
on January 6, 2012
I purchased these batteries as back-ups for my 2 Canons, one Elph SD 1000( built like a tank and still takes great pictures and video), and one Elph 300HS. I really am happy with these batterie's performances. They do last much longer than the O.E.M. batteries included with the cameras; I don't know about twice as long though... but they last much longer and are much less expensive than the Originals. Nuff said! I've been using rechargables a lot in recent years, thus I've learned quite a bit about them. 1)A battery with a higher mah rating will take longer to charge, and these do, and that's a Good thing. 2)As long as the voltages are the same, you will not damage your device, and in this case they are the same (3.7V). It's sorta like buying car batteries; They are all 14 Volts but some have high value cranking amps. like 780 and others may have much less, but they both fit your car and will not damage it,some just have much more reserve. So, it kinda comes down to, do you wanna spend $5.00 for x2 batteries or $40.00 for 1 not as good battery.
